I saw the full version of this clip. Some American tourists were shouting insults and calling him derogatory things. The police officer stopped them and made them leave. I think in this clip they're calming down the guard and providing support. Please respect these guards they are trained soldiers.

My dad spent 25 years in the British Military, after he became a Civilan Watchman for the same barracks. He spent so many hours a day standing, he would go home and spent hours watching TV standing up, he got so used to standing all day he couldn't sit down and relax to watch TV. Took him a long time to be able to sit and watch anything.

Summerall Field, Ft Myer, Va. in the heat of summer, in the pouring rain as well as the freezing cold as sleet accumulates on you. Make certain you’re hydrated beforehand and don’t lock your knees! We called it Surfing Summerall because it looked like you were catching a tasty wave as you slowly lost consciousness before you smooth face planted only to be drug off field by your feet by an NCO behind the formation and replaced by an Alternate. Word on the street was if that happened to you, you’d find yourself at Camp Liberty Bell at the DMZ within the next 72 hours to live out the rest of your enlistment.

He doesn't look like he is coping well though and could even be his first shift on guard duty ? 🤷🏼‍♀️ It's not easy getting up at 4, going on exercise and then kit and bunk inspection, then standing as still as physically possible for hours, then food and kip if you're lucky, then exercise and whatever else they got for you to do before bed. The Royal British Legion's long-held estimate is that somewhere between 3 and 6 per cent of homeless people have an armed forces background, but there are concerns that some homeless veterans are rendered “invisible” by the way statistics are collected. Along with veterans who have mental health or substance abuse problems, veterans with few financial assets or who don't have family members they can turn to for support may find themselves on the street.
If you can get help when you come back you can risk your life for our failing country or else you’re going to have to end up homeless because the country doesn’t care about you 🤷‍♂️.

allora dovrebbero smetterla di fare richiesta perche hey! nessuno glielo impone. È in lavoro come in altro, oltretutto ben retribuito. Ok è dura stare in i
piedi tutto il giorno nella stessa posizione ma, quelli vanno in pensione anticipata. Le guardie reali sono tutte giovani se ci fai caso. Ed in Inghilterra avere un curriculum del genere, ti apre indubbiamente porte e portoni.

He is either mad bc someone came to close or touched him (which would also be a reason why they closed that area and why they fixed his helmet) or its the heat of the summer paired with the thick coat and all that clothing. Most people dont understand how hard it is to stand and walk around in the heat with all that on.

He is not having a melt down. He had a interaction with a person from the crowd. This is why the police and his NCO showed up. The chain went up so they could determine what happened and if he needed to be changed out. The moving was just him trying to get as much movement in his legs and feet as possible before ehe had to go back to standing like a statue.

Someone likely tried touching or harassing him or he may have seemed like he was under heat exhaustion or going to faint. Sometimes if you lock your knees to stand in formation for hours, on rare occassion a guy will just pass out because locking your knees constrict blood flow from legs to brain properly.

I've gotten close to fainting in the army fortunately I'm super short just barely met us standard so in a sea of green uniforms the guy behind me just propped me up an said "take a breath and force your face red for a sec Bud, an stop locking your knees, slight bend" he meant for me to basically force blood to my brain by inside grunting to reverse it. Lol fortunately nobody noticed but the few around me😂😂😂 so embarrassing.
