Hi Mr.Fünke.I'm Cities Skylines player,and i'm intrested in prehistoric city builder game.I kinda like Dawn of Man,but since it takes 800 megabites,it disincouraged me to buy it.So can you recomend for me game that is similar to Dawn of Man,but with smaller megabite size.PS:I would aprichiate yours opinion about other city builder games for PS4 as well.
What I need most Dawn of Man to do:
1) Have competing tribe build their own villages in the same map.
2) Improve AI so that your own tribe does jobs CLOSEST to them. Now people take any job no matter how far, and die on thirst, hunger or cold traveling between their jobs. Thus building any distance away is stupidity and kills your tribe, or at least they waste their time big time travelling the distances between their jobs.
The developer stopped adding features to the game. So it is what it is.
The developer did make some improvements for the AI when choosing what to do. But it's still a bit lackluster and it won't be any better. Maybe you can find a mod for it?

Bought the game yesterday and been having a blast, played a little bit of normal. Struggled a bit, went to creative and got up to a population of 130 with a giant compound wooden fence around it stacked with towers and the works and filled up with residential and workers areas. Even had a small second settlement forming a lil bit away before mfs started starving and dropping like flies 💀💀 got a lot to learn but I'm having a lot of fun with the game. Started a new nomad hard-core game and have a little 13 pop settlement who already had to kill a mammoth with the first four adults cause it wouldn't stop tip toeing on my borders lmao
It feels like in hard-core the second your workers load drops below 75% it either spawn a cave lion near the camp or a storm comes through or something to make the load go back up 110+ lol. Only thing I'm having a problem with so far

Tho, I am am sure this game is fun for many, as it seems well liked, I feel it would be better, even if just in hardcore mode, if you couldn't zoom out further than say a human could actually see if he was on the ground and no world map. Another less drastic way would be to only allow you to zoom out if you've seen the land already and the rest is fog of war till you actually travel there. I just feel the camera zoom as it removes any real sense of discovery and anticipation, but I also don't like city builders in general mostly for this reason. I do however love the concept of traversing the ages of man and technology from cave man thru iron age. That said a compromise between say valheim and this would be interesting. What I mean is give this game valheim's third person immersion but keep it's game-arch

@Raptor, You need some stone so you can get that burial mode built. Also when I play I also click the plus button and select the alarm menu. That way when animals or raiders attack I can sound the alarm then sound the all-clear after it is over. It is good If an animal is going after someone as they will run for camp then the stupid animal follows them into camp and everyone attacks!

Love this game, so addicting.
I find it easier to send a bigger hunting party to attack and kill predators because they fight back instead of taking you on a marathon 3248923 miles from home

@@peterbode342 yeah, it was easy enough. Didn’t have any issues… just the usual amount of time to figure out what button does what, when you need it.
