Many fans now are fanboys who want to protect their favorite boxer, allow them to cherry pick and get away with it because it preserves their ego. The ducking nature of boxing is allowed and encouraged by a lot of fans, unfortunately.
That’s actually a huge adjustment for Tim. To go from a 5’9” fighter to a 6’5” fighter is crazy.

Mendoza has been in Tim's training camp preparing him for Thurman. There's no better training partner for Tim than the guy who KO'd Fundora in Fundora's last fight. Fundora gets decapitated within a handful of rounds.

Hard not to admire Tims attitude of taking on all comers
Fundora was already preparing for a world title fight on the same card so you can't say he's not prepared. Tszyu and Fundora both took the fight on short notice and we get to see two young lions fight for two of the world titles. It's sad not to see Thurman fight Tszyu but this is a pretty good consolation prize.

If Fundora fights like he usually does, I don't see how he doesn't get stopped. The synopsis of a tall lanky pressure fighter vs a compact boxer-puncher is pretty self explanatory; but you have to respect the willingness of Fundora to go for it on short notice.
I would cringe watching Fundora always fighting on the inside. He has such a reach advantage, fighting inside should never be part of his game. That is unless forced to fight that way.
@@donaldbarker8162that's the weakness of a tall lengthy fighter if he doesn't know how to utilize his jab. You get inside of him. Paul Williams had that same problem when Sergio Martinez beat him. In a fight you must be ready for everything.
OMG! This is even a better fight, I've been tired of Keith for the longest, who wants to see a guy that fights once every 5 years 😄come on! This fight just may be a beautiful masterpiece, it's a dangerous fight for both guys, I really love this matchup.

in my opinion this is a much better fight. People are underrating Fundora because he just got kod, but he was dominating that fight up until the knockout. Thurman is shot to bits, he would’ve either gotten broken down and stopped or he would’ve been in there just to survive. Fundora is young and is going to come to win no matter what. This is going to be a real mexican style fight and i’m actually really excited for it!

Fundora went 12 with Ocampo. Tszyu knocked Ocampo TF out in 77 seconds. Lubin rocked Fundora and made him take a knee. Mendoza KO'd Fundora as with Lubin shows Fundora got a weak chin... Tszyu will KO Fundora and may also fold him in half with body shots.

Zepeda vs Shakur make it happen. Shakur shines against pressure fighters, but nobody has put pressure like this. I think it'll be a really fun fight. Something similar to Mayweather vs maidana 1.

I was pulling for Thurman but this was the last straw. Wish him the best but he is always injured. Hope boxing moves on from him . He missed his shot when he was on top avoiding all the fights we wanted. Now he’s a broken fighter. Enough is enough.
