I enjoyed it and watch the reruns even now when they are run. As an older person I tend to enjoy shows from simpler times.
Was privileged to go cruising with Jerry Mathers a few years back. Spent a bit of time
He was taking his wife on a cruise for her birthday. A real pleasure to meet this wonderful entertainer.
Marcus Welby Maryland?
Let's not forget Tony Doe. LOL
Medical Doctor
Watched it when it first aired and still watching it today!
I'm still watching it 😁😁😁😁😁😁
Loved Leave It To Beaver.
I used to watch Marcus Welby MD. A show about a doctor now I know was from Maryland 😝
Leave It to Beaver was a very good realistic series about two brothers growing up together in the late 50's & early 60's. Hugh Beaumont was a pretty cool dad. He knew how to deal with all of their antics & problems & he always stayed cool!! He played his role perfectly!!!
The Mom was so pretty!
I worked at a high-end bicycle shop near Venice Beach California. Had the opportunity to meet several celebrities and sold bikes to some of them. One day Tony Dow came into the shop
And I was able to wait on him. I had learned how to deal with celebrities by that time and he was very down-to-earth and friendly. I just asked him if he was working on any projects and he said that he was. I also waited on Demond Wilson from Sanford and Son and he was an amateur track cyclist from New York city. I sold him a very high-end track racing bike and all the equipments with it such as jersey, shorts included shoes. Super nice guy.
I loved the show, I use to get a kick out of Eddie Haskell
You were really hard on the beaver last night Ward....)
The best episodes I think, were the ones with Eddie Haskell!!! He always had alot of good Wisecracks!!!
Ward I'm worried about the Beaver.
Damn! I wanted to see Barbara Billingsley in her undergarments.☹️
Marcus Welby Maryland is a wonderful vacation destination. Great for the entire family
😂
Maybe you'll bump into Tony Doe 😂
Tony Dow was a hoot hunk.
I wanted Hugh Beaumont to be my father. My real dad wasn't bad but I just thought Mr. Beaumont was so handsome.
Jerry Mathews real life's father was my Highschool principal at Granada Hills High in Granada Hills, California.
I wasn't born yet when "Leave It To Beaver" first aired in 1957. Since it ended in 1963, I was only 2 years old. However, I did indeed watch it in syndication from 1965, all the way to the present. For me, this TV series never gets old, no matter how many times I have watched each episode over and over again.
I admit that the show has gotten kind of "dated" and at times, "korny" over the past three decades. But you just have to put it back into the context of its era, which was so innocent and simple way back in those times.
No one's homes were ever that perfect. My own personal homelife was actually dysfunctional as a kid growing up. So at times, the show truly was make-believe fantasy for me.
I still love it today, though. Makes me wish for simpler times.
I always thought Barbara Billingsley looked like she should have been a teacher. 😂
Mrs. Beaver was a very attractive woman.
A great TV show, 😂
🕊️❤️🕊️I grew up with Leave it to Beaver even to this day I watch the reruns during the Day but my favorite time to watch is 12am to 1am. Completes my day like someone said I so enjoy watching the Simple programs the ones I grew up with life was different back then how I miss it but I have so many great memories 🕊️💙🙏🏼💙🕊️🦋🦋🦋
One of my favorite shows as a kid. Still watch it now! Even though, my family does not look anything like the Cleavers, it’s very true that “kids are kids” everywhere!
The entire family was nice.
Ward, you were very hard on the Beaver last night!
It was a good show
I’m watching Leave it to Beaver right now. (S2, E17) Beaver Plays Hookey. Love this show.
I remember gomer pile wiring up all the toilet seats to salute all at one time
Love Leave It To Beaver
One of the BEST TV series ever!
We watched it in 1970's
The Trouble with Harry, an Alfred Hitchcock film, starred the young Jerry Mathers. Seems a force in Jerry’s life did have an interest in his acting career. This video makes it sound like Jerry was more interested in Cub Scouts than acting, which is in part why he landed the role as Beaver. Then at the end it says Jerry had been acting since he was 2. It all seems a bit disingenuous to me. Then, he’s ironing out merchandising deals. Sounds like the kid played the adults here. Good for him! I still watch Leave it to Beaver occasionally. It recalls a wholesome and sane world. How we got to where we are today, seems an impossible journey from where we started, but here we are.
I enjoyed watching many of the old shows when I was a kid. I can’t remember for certain but I think they showed reruns on Nickelodeon or Nick at Nite?… Anywho, it was wholesome n funny. 🥰
They lived in Mayfield
I remember enjoying the show when I was a young boy, home sick from school. I miss those days of innocence. It was a different world back then and I feel sad for the innocent children of today.
I love the episode when Jerry Mathers was on a married with children it was hilarious
Wish I had parents like the Cleavers!
Marcus Welby Maryland, get real, that's Marcus Welby M.D. doctor of medicine.
Marcus Welby M.D. DOCTOR
Ward, you were a little hard on the beaver last night.
I remember Eddie Haskell.
Lumpy Rutherford my favorite
Still like watching it. Memories of simplier times of Life!!
Have the Box Set watch it all the time
We can’t wait to have this on our site soon 🎉❤
Loved it
Always loved this show!!❤
Best show on TV. Wally was so hot.
Entertaining show
I had a leave it to beaver childhood.....life
Ward was always so hard on June.
Twice, Marcus Welby Maryland. Must be a stoopid computer generated narration. It's M.D. as in Medical Doctor. Tony Dow has to be the most handsome teenager in television history.
They didn't show belly buttons on TV back then.
Harry Shearer was originally ready to play the role of Eddie Haskell.
Hugh Beaumont is a total daddy.
No mutual showers though
I like the show. The funny thing about this show is the mother was in charge.
I enjoyed this
I love it..
classic TV.
Now its time for yours truly jhonny dollar.
