Hoover Power Path Pro Advanced leaking water problems

- Vacuum leaking water on circuitry and shorting out, tripping breakers, and becoming useless. After using this machine 3 times, it was leaking water. I wasn't ready to toss it yet, so I took it apart and found the leak.
Lessons learned:
Hoover uses brittle plastics on their pump.

I get water leaking out the bottom of mine. Spinscrub 50. Hoses aren't leaking. Like under the motor between it and the lower base I have water in the base setting. You know how the 1leg of the dirty water tank sets into the hole, well down in there the base has bunch water setting. Soon as you turn vaccum on , the motor fan blows the water out the bottom.
That sounds awful. Is it a gasket for the water tank? You're going to have to take things apart to find that leak.
I say a bad hose on the bottom
Hey bro did the fix stop the leakage? I just bought this from best buy for my mother's birthday and now Im Worried after seeing some reviews.how did it work before the leak?
It worked for a couple more uses. My sealant could have been more craftsman. It worked good before the leak, though if the design didn't cram the hose into the housing, stressing cheap plastic pump outlets, it would be a great product. You shouldn't need a hack to use a new product, right?
How did you get the housing off that's in front of the pump?
You can see screws on the housing. Remove them then pry on the plastic housing enough to get to the pump. I didn't fully take housing off for that repair.
I've had mine about 10 years, no problems. then suddenly, It started leaking from under the cover at the bottom. How to remove the cover of the pump and motor?
I didn't fully remove the housing. Take out the screws, and pry the housing back just enough to work with the pump.
