ERIC, GOOD for YOU!!! For giving a homeless kitty a loving home. It is So great she likes to travel. OUR cat HATES traveling. As soon as The engine starts, she bolts to the bedroom & burrows under the blankets where she rides until we make camp. I worry she is TERRIFIED from the noise and vibrations of driving & she has her claws dug into out mattress as we drive. BUT, once we make camp she comes out & is a happy cat again. !
This is such a beautiful video. These two just learning to get along. It almost makes me want to get another cat or kitten to replace the one I lost. Then I am getting to old and with severe health issues it would be very hard for me to take care of two cats. So what I will do is watch you and your two furbabies. We feed them Friskies shreds which they love and a good natural dry food. They love to eat too. They entertain us. Not only make us laugh but are very affectionate. When you are home and have the space, get a kid fishing pole and tie a cat nip mouse to the end. Best fun ever for your fur buddies.

They are adorable together and she will not need a cat toy since she will always Jax tail to play with and it seems that he moves it to amuse her. Looks like Jax enjoyed his birthday. I took in a feral cat in out area and she adores my black cat, who I got in 2013 when she was 6. 🤓🐅 Beautiful kitty. Handsome Jax. You ❤ them and it shows. You may want to change food bowls to ceramic or stainless steel. ❤ love all if you!!

My grandpa & kitten play together, but sometimes he's the grumpy grandpa. They also look like each other and like Jax and Terra.
Watched this video again. Much applause for your research to settle them in and also a compliment on how well you have taken A care of and socialized Jax. You gave him the time to get used to little sister and it worked out well. I used to have a small hobby farm where I raised cattle, sheep, and goats. Research and patience is the key for sure in making it work well for you and the animals. Congratulations and have fun!

Tara is adorable! As someone who has up to 3 cats at a time in our home, all added at different time over the years, and two dogs, 90% 0f getting everyone to get along has just been us approaching it as something we expect and are not concerned off. Cat and Dogs both tend to look to those that they have bonded with and go off their emotional energy. We always segregate a new cat addition to a room that will be 'theirs' and take a lot of time n there rotating n and out until they have made a definite bond with one of the humans. Then we usually take part of a day when the other animals can be absent - usually the dogs out on a day of errands in the car, and any other cat parked in different room and let the new one have a few hours to roam around the house until they find a few places that are 'kitty holes" holes to hide in. Dogs usually get the first intro as are dogs already know 'no chasing' is about any cat they see, and we have found that after they get a good smell in they pretty much ignore the cats and that is usually fine with a new arrival. Then we let the other cats out and just remain very calm and with a very big attitude that we expect it to all work out, Sometimes there is hissing but after a while they all get it sorted out and eventually we will catch them all napping in a cat pile after a few weeks. Usually Hissing stops when the cat that has been there the longest figures out he/she is not having to give up what they prefer because of a new addition. Since Jax was even allowing her to eat off the same plate, after ignoring that she was in the box, I think you in are ally good spot where they will all work out who is mostly in charge and who gets what. Often, I have seen with rescue kittens, especially ones over the 4 month mark, the first few time they go to a strange place, which usually happens to be a vet, or if I have taken them a long to introduce to a friend, they do tens to get depressed. I suspect that it due to what they may have endured by becoming rescued, or if moved around from foster to shelter and so on, they may have started to bod well and when you first take them somewhere they think they are being sent off. So it may just have been that. Then again, often the second round of feline vaccines can be rougher of some than on others, especially if the rabies shot is also given. Just like human babies, some take vaccines an act like nothing happens, while others can be feverish and cranky for a couple of days. My vet actually avoids given the rabies along with out vaccines and while it makes for two trips a few days apart, we have had less incidents of them not feeling well after vaccines. Next time she has to go for yearly vaccines, you should mention to the vet about this as they may want to split up injections to two different days, or premedicate her, or give her some medication to take home if she again has a reaction

We did the same thing when our Min Pin Spike was 11yrs old. We rescued Sophia also a Minpin, it took awhile for him to get use to her. Spike has been our baby since he was 8wks old in a semi. Spike will now be 14yrs old in July and they get along very well.

Aww she’s adorable, my husband surprised me with a black puppy two months ago, he’s now 4 and 1/2 months old and definitely keeps us busy. We named him Loki after the marvel character. But I remember when we introduced our female kitty to the male cat we used to have, it was a lot the same thing, just letting them come to terms over the fact that there was going to be two cats, it took her about a week or so but she eventually reached a point where she sort of tolerated him. Sadly they’ve both been gone for 4 years or so now I’m very much ready for another kitty but will need to prep my plants and we will have to introduce Loki to a kitty carefully too. But she’s so cute. ❤️

That was by far the most entertaining video y’all have done in a while! And they’re all good! More great editing Tara. Good shots on the bike. Liked the ones of you, Chad, and Daisy. Got to see some of Chad’s patches. Maybe one day he can describe them all. The mangroves were like an episode of “I Love Lucy.” You are too dang funny Tara and I don’t know if you even know it. I can see you on a new version of the emergency alert button commercial - getting caught in your kayak- “help, I’m stuck and I can’t get up!” 😜 You needed a couple of more hands to get outta that situation easier but you handled it like a pro 😉. Gotta say tho, Chad was a tad more graceful limboing that branch- but you get the highest score with the dog and camera difficulty. But, like I said, y’all are so entertaining just paddling around in a kayak, I don’t even think you realize it. That’s saying a lot 😉.

Often, I have seen with rescue kittens, especially ones over the 4 month mark, the first few time they go to a strange place, which usually happens to be a vet, or if I have taken them a long to introduce to a friend, they do tens to get depressed. I suspect that it due to what they may have endured by becoming rescued, or if moved around from foster to shelter and so on, they may have started to bod well and when you first take them somewhere they think they are being sent off. So it may just have been that. Then again, often the second round of feline vaccines can be rougher of some than on others, especially if the rabies shot is also given. Just like human babies, some take vaccines an act like nothing happens, while others can be feverish and cranky for a couple of days. My vet actually avoids given the rabies along with out vaccines and while it makes for two trips a few days apart, we have had less incidents of them not feeling well after vaccines. Next time she has to go for yearly vaccines, you should mention to the vet about this as they may want to split up injections to two different days, or premedicate her, or give her some medication to take home if she again has a reaction

We did the same thing when our Min Pin Spike was 11yrs old. We rescued Sophia also a Minpin, it took awhile for him to get use to her. Spike has been our baby since he was 8wks old in a semi. Spike will now be 14yrs old in July and they get along very well.

Aww she’s adorable, my husband surprised me with a black puppy two months ago, he’s now 4 and 1/2 months old and definitely keeps us busy. We named him Loki after the marvel character. But I remember when we introduced our female kitty to the male cat we used to have, it was a lot the same thing, just letting them come to terms over the fact that there was going to be two cats, it took her about a week or so but she eventually reached a point where she sort of tolerated him. Sadly they’ve both been gone for 4 years or so now I’m very much ready for another kitty but will need to prep my plants and we will have to introduce Loki to a kitty carefully too. But she’s so cute. ❤️

That was by far the most entertaining video y’all have done in a while! And they’re all good! More great editing Tara. Good shots on the bike. Liked the ones of you, Chad, and Daisy. Got to see some of Chad’s patches. Maybe one day he can describe them all. The mangroves were like an episode of “I Love Lucy.” You are too dang funny Tara and I don’t know if you even know it. I can see you on a new version of the emergency alert button commercial - getting caught in your kayak- “help, I’m stuck and I can’t get up!” 😜 You needed a couple of more hands to get outta that situation easier but you handled it like a pro 😉. Gotta say tho, Chad was a tad more graceful limboing that branch- but you get the highest score with the dog and camera difficulty. But, like I said, y’all are so entertaining just paddling around in a kayak, I don’t even think you realize it. That’s saying a lot 😉.
