Yep......looked fine to me. The guys got a little emotional but'll be fine in a couple days. When CJ sees the highlights he'll see he's a bit excited over a racing deal.

@@johnnyboy8603 Thorson did zero wrong. Don't over drive the car if you don't want to go out of the groove, simple as that. Not to mention he needs to grow up and realize no one else is at fault but himself. Lashing out at the winner instead of using it as a learning opportunity for next time is absolutely trashy. It makes it feel like he's entitled and if things don't go his way it's everyone else's fault.
Clean pass. Leary lost his line, thats his own fault. Poor sportsmanship.

I lost a ton of respect for Leary watching him behave that way after he was the one that screwed up and jumped the cushion. Tanner worked is ass off for that and Leary choked. Was funny seeing how Salty Cj's reporter girlfriend was right before she interviewed Tanner. You could literally see the salt on her face lmao

@@jasonlaman2762 Tanner even said to her in the interview that he was sorry because he knows that's her man, then he patted her shoulder and she kind of slapped his arm away lol. They boo'd CJ super loud at Bloomington today after he finished 3rd and actually stuck around for the interview. He acknowledged the fans boos and kept it classy. Hopefully he apologizes to Tanner but they were racing hard tonight so we might have a little rivalry brewing.
Women just can't let go. The drivers will be fine with each other in no time but I can't say the same for her.

In all the years I have been around racing all I can say that was a smooth clean move Leary got up high and Jumped the cushion I know from Learys view it felt different but it was a clean race that the Fans like to watch.
I watched that over and over and I saw no contact. Leary I think was watching Thor den to much and lost sight on racing his car as he went over the cushion. Congratulations to Thorsen for making a great racing move!!!

That was some good hard racing. Clean all the way up until the crybaby started throwing a temper tantrum. Also quite obvious broadcast crew and that reporter have a very skewed view on the events at hand. There was absolutely no contact and you all are screaming it like Dale jr. Saying slide job. Amateurs
The female reporter is dating CJ so that's one reason she may be a little biased.
@@Corky3D yeah I picked up on that but she did okay as far as what she said. I did notice she slapped his hand away when he patted her shoulder. It may have been playful with a smile. Couldn't see her face. They all know each other it's a traveling circus just the nature of racing. Play-by-play announcers were all over the place though with inaccuracies
@@royavery6949 Yeah, i think he was over stepping his boundaries trying to touch her, even if it was a friendly shoulder tap. Especially since it's CJ's girlfriend.
@@Corky3D possible but it really depends on the context of their interactions prior. If they are friends and peers at the racetrack on a weekly basis you can't expect them to act like strangers.

There was NO CONTACT BY ANYONE ANYWHERE despite what the announcers called out.
Leary PANICKED because someone was next to him and lost control of his car. Thorson did nothing but drive next to him coming out of turn 2 which, last I checked, is called RACING.
Where was the contact the green car went way up the track all by himself.... lost traction and got passed.
Leary is being a punk here. Nobody touched him. He ran out of talent, and it cost him the race.
He went over the cushion on his own , nothing to blame on the other guy .

It was a terrible pass from him to be fair. Not because he took CJ out or anything, in fact the exact opposite, he gave CJ all the room in the world to get off the gas and come back underneath, but he panicked and ended up jumping the cushion.

Nah I see where CJ's coming from, it was either jump the cushion or drive into Tanner and take them both out. Feel like Tanner's as much to blame as CJ is for not expecting Tanner to slide all the way up.
He jumped the cushion all on his own, no one needs to give another person room just because he over drove it and blew his chance at a win. Simple as that. He needs to move on and learn from his mistakes instead of throwing a temper tantrum.

Leary was over the cushion before Tanner got to him. He saw Tanner head to the bottom and tried to drive around him. The track was dry and Leary jumped the cushion. That was all on Leary. Tanner never touched him.
That was all on CJ, CJ jumped the cushion quite a bit before Tanner got close. I've been put in that same exact position and jumped the cushion. Only I didn't go doing what CJ did.
Only sprint cars are good for is slid job. Late model and modified are better race side by side racing
