My thoughts are with you and little Coco. I know what you are going through if you ever need to talk. I am a veterinary nurse and also lost my border collie baby 3 years ago to a rare cancer called systemic mastocytosis. For the last 16 weeks of his life (from first sign of sickness to the end) it cost $16000 to give him the best last moments of his life that he could have. Thank goodness we had pet insurance. I still miss him every day. I'm praying for Coco. 😻💖

BRIA CRISTA I get what you mean about pet insurance as there is a lot of fine print. If you talk to one of the nurses or receptionists at your vet they should be able to point out the good ones so you can decide from there if you ever want to. Not sure about where you live but in Australia I find that Prosure and Petplan are great.

Ugh, my heart hurts for you and your poor Coco.
I lost my first fur baby cat named Kiki last October after having her for ten years and it was the hardest thing I've ever gone through. This April I got a new kitten for my birthday and she completely healed my heart. I don't understand how they do it, but they are the cure for even the hardest of days. The best thing you can give her is love and positivity - I truly feel that those things along with prayer help to heal the most.

So sorry. Last year I lost my dog AND my cat out of nowhere from cancer. On top of that, my 48 yo step mother was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer last year in June as well. Worst year of my life. No one deserves this, not even animals.
