Amazing haul! I’m so glad to see someone else going down a similar path to what I’m doing and have been for the last several months. My ‘Making up for lost time’ philosophy has been fun as hell but also damaging to my bank account. But in the end I wouldn’t have it any other way. I adore the chunky box sets of Arrow, Vinegar Syndrome and Second Sight. Such a rad collectible!
Btw, the 4k transfer of Flatliners is outstanding!
I can't wait to watch flatliners in 4k! I definitely feel like I'm making uo for lost time...I have/had about 500 or 600 movies in my collection and then I stopped really buying anything because I was too busy making my own movies but I really missed it and then I come back to it and these boutiques have amazing stuff and it is like a kid in a candy store who hasn't eaten in weeks lol...I'm trying to take it all in! I'm pretty much gonna buy what I want within some kind of reason and get caught up lol
@@AVAPopCulture For the last ten years I transitioned over to streaming services and only bought a few physical copies each year. But after I upgraded my TV and home theater system I really became interested again, then became unhinged once I learned of these boutique sets. 😂
I think I’ve bought around 300 4k/blu rays since December 😬
If you like Arrow Video chunky boxes you would love Second sight chunky boxes. They also just put up a pre-order for You’re Next. Supposedly they are also releasing in 2 weeks The Hitcher 4K

Great haul, buddy! You're not lying with the Limited Edition of Tremors. I was able to get it for $80 on eBay.
I just keep biding my time with the LE of Tremors and a few others... I'm still tracking down Waterworld, Robin Hood, the Warriors (white box) and a few others...my credit card and bank account would like a word with me LOL
@@AVAPopCulture You're going through the same roller coaster as I went through when I first started the channel. There's sooo many beautiful editions I wanted them all in the beginning, then I had a-come-to-Jesus talk, which is what I exactly needed. 🤣

Just recently picked up the arrow release of Narc which was a blind buy and definitely recommend it. Totally missed this when it was out in the early 2000’s. The slip has AMAZING artwork as well
I was going back and forth about getting it but I love that cover art and if I am going to ever try and complete the full Arrow collection, I'm gonna need it lol - glad to hear your recommendation though, that makes pulling the trigger now a whole lot easier
@@AVAPopCulture I was the same way, definitely waffled on it. It’s a gritty crime drama that holds up well. A great performance from Ray Liotta too.
Dial steel BB only was 9$ online but sold out and never in store about 100$ on eBay now and still hard to find it. I did get tremors for a good price on Amazon but just the disc no box or book
Love Arrow! Just ordered the Dead or Alive trilogy after only seeing the first one. Gotta get me some Conan too and maybe their upcoming El Mariachi trilogy

The El Mariachi treatment I am gong back and forth on...for now, I ordered the Desperado steelbook only...I prefer that art and it is the only one with a 4k upgrade!

I’m a sucker for the premium box sets sometimes I wish I had just started collecting the double dip is a wallet killer! Btw love everything you got except Donnie darko. I just don’t like that movie I’ve tried it’s just not for me. Also quit collecting steelbooks but the art is dope. True Romance is so good. Great video brother👍
Thanks man! True romance was a rare blind buy for me as was Donnie Darko! I had managed to never see it and boy, I have so many thoughts on it that it is going to launch a new series of videos ...and my take is probably going to irritate hard-core fans on Donnie Darko lol

@thelastmoviestanding I think it would make a good midnight movie...I have $25 credit at Barnes and Noble and it is is on sale for $30 so it would cost me $5 lol...I want to get "After Hours" too but the markup at B&N sucks right now...
I love Arrow Videos standard chunky box release with amaray case and booklet. Not of fan of that new style arrow case of Crimson Peak for a couple of reasons but mainly i like the disc in it own separate case and not on the actual boxset like a DVD style boxset just waiting to get scratched. Hope they don’t keep those going. Their old chunky boxsets are the best
I felt like they were going fora VSU style box with the crimson peak set, but instead of putting the movie inside a case with its own slip cover like the VSUs they put the booklet inside a slip cover LO L that part didn't make any sense.
@@AVAPopCulture yea it was a cool idea but I’m just not a fan of the disc on the hard plastic backing because they scratch the disc way too easily. One thing I have noticed with 4K discs is they scratch like DVDs almost. Blurays for some reason are the best and could roll around in cases for years and never get scratched. That coating on those discs is a game changer. Since I have gotten heavy into 4Ks I can’t even tell you how many scratched 4K discs I get that skip or even can’t make an MKV copy of it because of the smallest scratch in the world. Also 80% of the scratched 4Ks I get are from factory which is upsetting.
you're not kidding when stuff get out of print again. it a a pain in the ass. there were two movies that I was planning to get and by the time I was going to pull the damn trigger. it gone again. those were youngblood with Rob Lowe and My Scrience Project. also Invasion USA was another but I hear it coming back next month but I don't have a 4k monitor. I have a blu ray/4k player but it not really a full on one because it PS5 and invasion and delta force is coming on 4k.
Yeah when it goes out of print the prices foes crazy! From now on, If I think I might want something, I'm gonna buy it and not wait
@@AVAPopCulture alot of time they can only last for at least 2 or 3 years and boom it out of print again. better get them while the window is open.
That’s another thing about physical is more people get paid. The artwork the case the disc the people who put it on the disc etc. stream $ goes to 1 person Obama if you watch the blockbuster movie you would know that
