Hi Tom, We would like to express our gratitude for your valuable feedback and suggestions on our products. We appreciate your time and effort in testing KES01 and providing us with your criticisms. We noticed that you experienced two problems: 1. Inconsistent results of finding studs: ①Weren't able to find stud in mode 3/4", ②find stud in mode 1 1/2", ③Can't find stud in mode 3/4" on spot 2. 2. Warning of electricity even in a certain distance to voltage presence We have a few suggestions that we believe will improve your experience with KES01. Would you kindly consider helping us retest our product with these new changes? Regarding to Stud mode: Firstly, please select the right mode 3/4" or 1 1/2" based on the wall thickness. Based on your testing result, 1 1/2" should be suitable. Secondly, it's necessary to calibrate before each use. Simply place the KES01 on a blank wall WITHOUT stud. If the calibration took place with stud presence, it offers a false benchmark. Regarding to AC mode: Calibration for AC mode could be performed on a blank wall or in the air WITHOUT voltage presence. Kindly avoid touching the back of the KES01 with your fingers. Kindly check the attached demonstration video for reference. When Metal Mode and AC Mode are selected, KES01 will sound an alarm when there is a certain distance between metal and wires to avoid drilling holes in these positions. This feature ensures everyone's safety and well-being. We understand that this is not pointing to the most accurate position and will improve it in new product design. Once again, we appreciate your feedback and would be grateful if you would be willing to re-test KES01 with our suggested changes and provide us with your feedback. Thank you for your time and consideration. Best regards, Kaiweets Community Manager

Thanks for watching! Appreciate the feedback, Thanks
Pretty sure you calibrate it against the wall between studs, not in the air like you were doing.
Thanks for Watching Steve! Did both, on the wall it was confused, especially if you were over or close to a stud. Appreciate the feedback
