so at 9:42 hold ALT + shift and select both edges and then press f8 and search for Edge ''Bridge Edge Loops'' and hit enter so you dont have to do it one by one :D

Yep these techniques should all work in Trainz as well, just make sure that you model on the correct axis since Trainz most likely uses a different axis than IR does

yes it should be, it will be more difficult to do so, but these techniques should be applicable for any loco, blueprint or not
