Your dad and I have similar taste in cars because we are close in age. Enjoy your time with him, it's cool you can do stuff like this together, and I enjoy seeing him in your videos.
I like your dad’s taste in cars.👍
I think he's like 8 years younger than I am so we're pretty close......The popular mod for the gremlin was drop a 327 in them. Bolted right up. A buddy in highschool had one...was a rocket.....same as a vega...a 327 would drop right in and bolt up to the transmission.
Awesome video looks like you and your dad are enjoying the auction
Hey Craig, your Dad is cool. But you know that right?
I can see where you got your love for cars from. Glad to see you're hanging out together. When he's gone; those are the times you'll think of. Great memories!
I still say you need your own show Craig. Between papa Al, your dad, even your brother….balancing family life..some interesting stuff for the right audience. 👍
That was a fun watch!! Definitely would like to see you and your dad go to more auctions. I like the way you did a general overview of the auction while stopping and talking about cars that caught your eye for a minute or two. 👍
There's a possibility that maybe some of those speedometer mess with I can't see that many cars have low miles
I love seeing two generations with their different outlook on cars. Thanks for the amazing insight to an auction on the other side of the pond from me over in Europe.
Much love
Your dad looks a bit younger than me. I grew up on late 50's and all the 1960's cars (graduated HS in 1969...) You said everything your dad looks at is 'funny', while everything YOU look at is 'cool'. Your dad's favorites are cool too.
I'm 1 decade younger and 1 decade older than him, right in the middle so I like em all.
I really have a thing for 50's and 60's pickups. TBH Even a 30's....I'd love to get one and do a semi resto mod on it. Put a modern drivetrain and brakes to make it reliable and safe and keep the rest stock. Nothing wild, a nice V6 with 250 hp, just make it into a nice sunday driver.
You came down to Orlando during the only 2 cold weeks of the year. 🥶😂 Now we are back on the 70s and 80s.
great stuff thanks. love seeing your dad and papa AL.
More videos with your Father. Thank You
More Dad! Love that OG knowledge!!!
I would want them all. That K5 Blazer!!! Man, I love that Gremlin. I was a kid in the 80’s. There was one floating around my family.
Excellent Video. Would love to see more. Brings back memories!!! I owned a 66 Corvette..
My parents old 2002 Camaro SS 35th anniversary, Brickyard 400 pace went on the block at Mecum Indy a couple yrs ago. Neat to see a car that they had for 13 yrs or so.
You ain’t lying about the 250R 3 wheeler! Was an absolute death trap but so much fun!
I bought a 74 corvette convertible from there 2 years ago! It was awesome!!!
I've been to several Mecum Auctions, NO bargains if you have a budget, first day or two are your "low dollar" vehicles...typically BIG BUCKS
Love it ,been on your channel now for 3 yrs I have family in Conn,I’m in TX , used car head and Detail
Please wear a lapel mic when you are in the auction area. Even when you are back up north at the auction it is so hard to understand you. LOVE THE CHANNEL!
Thanks for the tip on the Mustang in Meredith Craig, I have a place in Wolfboro so I'll have to check it out....
Definitely like your dad with you but love seeing Poppa Al in your videos
Loved the video! I was there for several days with my friend Greg. I've never seen so many amazing vehicles all in one place. I sure hope I can make it to Kissimmee again next year.
Really enjoy the auction videos. Hard to focus on one vehicle when so many catch your eye at the same time 😊
Videos like this are why I love your channel. Very exciting. I almost feel like I was there bidding. Thanks. Keep em coming.
Awesome! Thank you!
67 bird had radio ant on pass front fender, front marker lights under bumper and wing windows. 68 had rear fender mount radio ant, marker lights that rounded front fender to be seen from side and no wing windows. Love em!
Yeah me too...preferred the 'birds over the camaros. my favourite dinky car of all time was my 67 firebird convertible in silver, black stripes and red interior.....
Hey Craig, loving the channel and the Ferrari flip series! If you would like to see some crazy muscle cars to hypercars, The dream ride experience is the place to go! It Supports the Special Olympics. It’s closer then you think right across the CT border every August! Hope to see you there!!
We were planning to go but it was too cold!... ha. We went last year, and it was amazing. It would be cool to see you meet some of your fans in a video like this... I'd want to come over and say, Hi but I'm a little shy. I can't wait to see what you bought.
I know it has to be tough to containe urself with so many amazing cars around u. Lord if I had a pocket full of cash I’d be there filling up a storage build with all my dream cars
Come to the Indy auction mecum has I’ll have 15 cars there selling
Silver white stripes gt40
One in Tulsa.
Most pretty of all specs IMHO
Love it...Thank YOu
A LOT OF KNOWLEDGE ,THANK YOU
Love it !
So many cool cars, did spot some c10's in the background
Keep the oloman on bro 👍🏿
How’s Dad , I was there this morning , how is brothers, I saw Colin G-Shag,early in the week.
I can’t believe you came this far on the flip series ! What a wild ride !!!!!
That chev pickup stepside, almost bought one in 91 in blue....needed something to haul my boat around...(wasn't capable)
what mwkaes me cry is all those nice cars most will never be driven ,,sad would love to see em on the road
That extended cab Z71 was my favorite of all of them 🤷🏻♂️😂
Out of all the insanely awesome cars and trucks there, the red late 90s Silverado Z71 is what I’d be throwing my money at. Extended cab and no miles on arguably the best truck GM ever made? Yes please
The cheesegrater Ferrari is so 80s! But looks like your ride. Looking forward to the next Mecum show what will you buy?
Regarding how to distinguish between 1967 and 1968 and 1969. (That’s when I started driving).
Starting in 1968, sidelights we’re mandated. So yellow in front, on the side, red in back, on the side.
1967 had no sidelights. Starting in 1968, there are sidelights. Yellow and red.
Starting in 1969, headrests we’re required. And so how to tell apart 1967, 1968, 1969?
1967- no sidelights;
1968-sidelights (without headrest); and
1969-headrests are present!
Awesome
Anyone else afraid that Craig's going to accidentally end up buying something with all his hand waving?
I was thinking the same thing!! Lol.. I bought a goat like that once..
Lol😂😂😂😂
LOL
LOL
LOL I had a 250R Trike ,It was a sick machine Then later on i got a yamaha Banshee in 1988 ,another sick machine ,I am 50 years old now and still have a Banshee 2001 ,I wish i still had the 250 R but that was sold wen i got my first banshee .Nothing like a 2 stroke
7.54 60th anniversary Corvette convertible for 427 of my dream cars ZR1 it's also my dream car
That 308 GTSi would be mine if I could afford it. The fuel injected ones are so much nicer than the carbureted ones that require constant tuning and syncing. You can just get in an "i" and drive it. You can buy that '09 GT500 for high $30k's. The '13 and '14 are $50k. They have the big engine.
Craig I just want you to know how much I enjoy your videos. They’re so entertaining and I feel that it’s so different from any channel I’ve ever watched. Keep it up.
Thank you!
Lazer stripes - very cool at night in headlights when racing Dad - That Torino is rare and very under rated for the muscle car groups
You ❤️ all cars
Sick dude! Did you have to get permission to film there?
So I have read that that green amg was also gonna be the new viper when Chrysler and Mercedes were one company. Dont know how true.
So Craig I have a neighbor that has a 2002 Ferrari 360 Spider going through Barrett-Jackson this weekend in Scottsdale the lot number is 115 9.1 and there's no reserve on it
SamCrac on his recent video says he needs to thin out his Ferrari collection.
Facts 😭
Might know of a Yamaha 225 Three Wheeler for sale if that does it for you Craig.
What’s the difference between this and Barrett Jackson?
get the Testarosa Craig - How do you like how wide that car is? They are so underrated right now.
I noticed a lot of Modern GM's make that Engine noise you guys were talking about.
The green G-wagon
70’s are funny and 90’s are kool! Lol😂 You got that backwards! 😎I am 55 and 70’s have way better vehicles! Your Dad rules!😃
Thank you for showing those 90s GM trucks and the 80s blazers! Would like to know what the 90s GM trucks sold for
$60-70000's. Prices were ridiculous.
1:04 is that an impala over your left shoulder? Looks like the one from american graffiti.....
Will you be able to the next Barrett-Jackson auction coming up soon?
I will be at west palm
I have a 1973 Cheyenne super 10 ..I inherited with 29.000 100% original what would it be worth has all the books everything that come with it including the original price tag that goes in the window
Pops is cool have him more
Hey Craig Alex from Florida here just out of curiosity lhow much did The Nomad sell for
I dont remember
With price inflation when you walked in the auction I heard a 130k bid I assumed it was a 2005 pt cruiser
67 Firebirds and Camaros haved vent windows. 68 did not have vent windows.
Hi how much did the 93 crown Vic go for. Lol
it's understandable that a GTO Judge would go for big bucks because it was a limited edition made for two years 1970-1971 only about 11,000 judge editions were made over those two years where as Total GTO production for those two years was 50,681 or about 22% of GTO production in those two years was Judge models
Donus a video Craig on hoe much money your holiday actually costs you after you make a few videos claim the tax back and then youtube covers the rest. Is there any rust on these cars
How long until the Turkish guy leaves
Your dad is very wrong about the 12 gt500 over the 13, the 13-14 have 662 HP, the 12 is 550hp, the 13-14's are the last GT500's made in manual, they will be the most collectable, even over the new GT500's. The 13-14, have a top speed of almost 200, i think high 190's
Mecum or BJ is where you go to buy a car for your OWN collection or something you want in your own garage, not buying at wholesale to turn around and sell it retail.
'67 Camaro and Firebird had vent windows on the doors. The '68's did not.
68's had side marker lights also
Craig, PLEASE get a clip on microphone to sync with your camera.....WE CANT HEAR YOU! Whenever you're on the auction block or moving around you talk to us and it's so quiet. All the other bloggers are wearing clip on microphone packs that sync with the camera so we can understand them and any guests they have with them
That 2010 ZR1 shows why buying a car for investment is really risky. That car sold for 100K new ,12 years ago ,now seller will get 90K net.. Plus having to store, insure, maintain it..Crazy loss
If I had money, after about an hour I wouldn't! HA!
I'd think that the real deals would be at the end. As you said, 10 hour days, people gone, equals deals. At least I would think.
there are days and then there are days where they run through all the "normal" cars. A buddy's dad would go to the BJ auctions and on a thursday night you'd see all kinds of 60's and 70's cars go through not all original, not collectors, just regular drivers. Sell for $4500 to $7500. They run "collector" or valuable cars through peak times and on the weekend. Friday night is one of the prime times for running hot cars through....
👍
More
67 firebird camaros have triangle vent windows 68 don't
I've seen more people at my local auction house!
13:39 to me, THAT is what you should be shooting for instead of a ferrari.....Not sure if I told this story: I had family who worked at a ford dealer and if I was in the area I'd stop in and say hi. The sales team knew me. One day I was in talking to my sis in law and the sales manager says "hey mikey, you interested in a ford GT"? (I think it was 2005). Huh?
"step into my office" so like a fool I did.
Seems someone came in and put like $30K down and ordered one, when it came in he backed out of the deal. I think the list was $196 CDN and minus the $30K was around $150K was what they'd let it go for. (remember they were having a hard time selling them back then).
I said "no, can't afford it but how about taking it for a spin" NOOOO he said emphatically. "come on, we're almost family" "I know your family lol".....
NFC East is leading
10:30 youkeep on talking with your hands they might call you as a bid.
My bad
@14:00... You need to yell since you refuse to buy a lapel mic. The background noise in many of your videos washes out your voice. Buy a lapel mic already!
Definitely include your father
The '19 ZR1 didn't sell at $250k. I'm with you Craig. That's way over priced. They couldn't give them away at $110k 3 years ago.
That is totally untrue a hard loaded 3Lz had a window sticker of a 140000 and they brought that all day long
@@dakotaautosales9673 I was in Idaho and there was a dealer blowing 1 out. What difference does it make if they are selling them for $275k. Seriously... A used '19 ZR1 for $275k. Seems perfectly normal.
More performance than most cars originally selling for 3 or 4 times MSRP, highest factory hp and tq Corvette ever, one year only. Seems like it should be at least 250k now.
@@cs1375 he turned down $250k. Reserve not met.
@@cs1375 They were never sold for 3 or 4 times over MSRP 🤡😂😂
your viper is full of mold
How on earth do you understand the auctioneer 🤣🤣
Imagine how boring auctions will be in 20 years and there’s only EVs…
EV’s will be cheap. The batteries will be super expensive until that tech changes to something new.
We’re not gonna let that happen
Could imagine buying a car and never driving it only hundreds of miles. I can see if you're an eighty-year-old
What happens to the price of these cars when there’s no old white guys left ?
250k and wasn't enough? GTF out of here WHAT not in million years
Purchased NOTHING ! An entire episode based on what you like and what your dad likes
When will we see you continuing the Ferrari flip
Can u keep calling it the Ferrari flip series but u never buy a Ferrari. Over it. Lol
I'll sell you a running honda big red for a 1000
Location?
@@FlyingWheels I'm in sacramento California though
@@sonnyserrano5522 I'm in the Bay Area and may be interested in buying
I strongly hate EVs. Not even real cars to me
