I was one of the few lucky people to go to Taylor's secret listening sessions in her house in LA. It happened accidentally, back then I wasn't really a fan of her. My sis is really a big fan of Taylor and got an invite to her secret listening sessions. And then my sis got sick and asked me to take her place and go to Taylor's house in LA. I was a little hesistant at first because I'm not really a fan of her and she might not welcome me to her house. I decided to go in her house and see it for myself.
When I got to Taylor's house, there's a line of fans inside. And to my surprise I've met Taylor personally infront of me. Taylor asked me what's my favorite song of her. I said that I don't know much of her songs and I'm not really a fan of her. Taylor said to me she didn't mind if non fans came to her house, she would welcome them with open arms. She then suddenly hugged me and I was happy. She also gave me an autographed CD and headphones, and said give them to your sick sister I'm sure she will be proud. Some people don't know that Taylor is really a good person when u meet her personally. After that event I became a swifty.

I fell in love with Taylor and her music but I am most proud of how charitable she is to others. She left her family at Christmas to fly to one of her fans homes. Delaney was a young girl with cancer who had one wish,that was to meet Taylor. Taylor spent hours with this young girl who passed away three months later. That is what I most admire about Taylor her love for people and her generous nature.

Taylor Swift is the most brilliant musician to come along, in well, maybe forever. Her meteoric rise to fame that has not yet to falter has proven her staying power and fame. She will outsell any other musician in the world and most likely her chart and monetary successes will never be broken. Her songs resonate with people of all ages, whether you are the age she is singing about or have already gone through the issue her song is about, we relate. I remember when I first saw her. It was the video for "Tim McGraw", and my daughter actually had the video on ( she shares Taylors' Birthday ironically ), but after that video I said to my daughter, " Pay attention to her because that girl will be the worlds next biggest superstar! " It was obvious from that first video, and Brilliant of her to name her first foray into country music, " Tim McGraw. " So, we look forward to all of the uber intelligent moves she makes in the future and seeing her grow into the absolutely gorgeous woman she is isn`t too bad either! The guy talking about humility and country music made me L O L. I know someone who used to work at a concert venue and they saw all kinds of musicians there for years and years.
She said the *only* people who always refused to sign autographs and refused to be anywhere near fans, and who were "too good" to talk to anyone, or even *look* at anyone, were the country musicians. And not just a couple, but every single one. She said not even ONE country musician would allow anyone anywhere near them or acknowledge fans in any way. She said people from various other bands and genres, particularly rock bands, were really nice and down to earth and would talk to people and sign autographs.
But that country stars were so unbelievably stuck up and full of themselves and thought they were some kind of god and superior to everyone else. Just made me laugh lol because everything that guy was saying was the complete OPPOSITE of the truth.
