I was stationed on the Pt. Hannon. Jonesport, ME. The roughest any seas seen in this video wouldn't be the calmest in the North Atlantic. The 82 footer was like being on a cork in a tub.
Don't you mean Jonesport, America?? It's crazy I commented on this and saw your post. My year was 1991 and into 1992 I think. Only a year because I went to A-School. By chance, you know Master Chief Moore? He was the Skipper then....what an awesome guy! Jonesport was fun too. I'll never forget shooting rats at the dump...and other things
at 3:02 "Robert" finds a crab that doesn't quite measure up and non-nonchalantly tosses it overboard.. It doesn't quite work that way. The video should be evidence enough to cite and fine "Robert".
Robert was actively fishing, pulling crab from the pot, keeping the good and tossing the small. It works exactly that way unless Robert puts on dive gear and measures the crab at the bottom.
ChickenHawk841 He literally just brought that pot up. The good crabs go into storage and the small ones go into the ocean. Thats how legal fishing works
I was on the Pt. Bridge (WPB 82338) back in 78 was my 1st boat , all of this brought back memories, from the boat, to the uniforms...

Man, if my Master Chief would have ever saw us doing a boarding without a PFD on, he would have exploded on our ass. Point Hannon 82355 Jonesport, ME.
