Almost 3 years ago Paimon and this game saved my life, I was checked into a rehab due to trying to end myself through rampant drinking. It was during some of the harshest times of covid and we were perpetually indoors and my mental state was still in tatters, by chance I saw this game and downloaded it to my phone! I fell instantly in love with this beautiful world and all the wonderful places I could go to and see while I had been so trapped in my real life! With their help I was able to make it through my rehab and find more value in my existence, I've also never touched a drink since!
So thank you Paimon and the people who lovingly crafted this world and characters and to the community who keep reminding me why this game is so important to me! I'll walk Teyvat with you as long as I'm able! 💙

I have a theory that we will not see Paimon after we reunite with our sibling since she will be either dead or not able to leave Teyvat.
It's probably the people who play the game with Audi in English, her voice actress is very annoying and her voice is unbearable, while the Japanese voice is kawai and pleasant.

Every time there is a scene where traveler is appreciating and compliments paimon I get so emotional. During the sumeru quests paimon seemed much more insecure and stressed, and to an extent she still is; but the traveler is assuring her now!! It makes me so happy that Paimon is getting some recognition.
IM SO HAPPY WE HUGGED HER AT THE CARIBERT QUEST
We traveler should really appreciate Paimon. Despite her innability to fight or protecting herself, she's always there with us. Accompanying through our arduous and dangerous journey without asking anything in return. Eventhough that journey was basically just our selfish desire looking for someone who might not even want a reunion.

That beginning of seeing when the traveler fished out Paimon gave me whiplash, it feels like so long ago.
We joke about her being emergency food and all that, but we could not ask for a better travel companion. Going to be sad when we say goodbye in one way or another.
If it wasnt for her, we're still trying to find food and get out of a forest. And don't forget that she was the one who taught us the language here. SO without her, we will have 0 social skills, 0 friends, 0 food, and 0 sense of direction.

I love how both anniversary fan songs this year are highlighting our long journeys.
This game has a very strong place in my heart. It's literally the reason I'm still holding on as I look forward to the next update everytime I feel like giving up (Its not meaningful, but its keeping me alive and thats okay!). I hold every memory I have here preciously. But its also because of that that everytime I feel burnt out or tired, I panic and feel scared that I might be losing my final hold. Literally bawled at "Actually, you will also feel tired, right?"
But then we have the other song telling us its okay to rest and its normal to feel exhausted after so long too.

The characters actually care for us, and their voice lines can cheer someone's day up. Just check Klee's voice lines if you don't believe me. And I don't even have to say anything about the birthday voiclines. The smallest details can be the most heartwarming thing and which is why Genshin is the number one game in my heart, despite almost everyone at my school hating it and also me.

I find it wholesome that one of the reasons our traveler did not go the same path as the abyss sibling is because Paimon accompanied us instead of Dain.
Paimon is an actual sibling material. She can be annoying and unreliable at times but she's always there for you and will always love you.

As a 1.0 player who never took break, now at what appears to be halfway point of the story, sometimes, I do feel tired... But seeing how Paimon appreciate the hard work we've put in it's just heartwarming yet heart breaking at the same time.
Emergency food, flying mascot, silver companion, talking fairy or talking mini seelie, pale floater, flying lavender melon, floating elf companion, white floaty etc. What a journey we had over 5 nation. With silly nicknames Paimon got, She’s been the best travel companion we've ever caught/had.

It took me a bit to love Paimon but after a year something in me just switched and now i cant help but adore her immensely. She will always be our beloved travel buddy, our little guide, and of course emergency food /j
I hope I'm wrong... but I get the idea, in the opening scene of the animation that... Lumine has passed away now... and Paimon is treasuring her moments with Lumine in her album... This has made me cry legit. This game has so many beautiful moments to appreciate, understand and process the loss of loved ones. But Kkomda's work always brings in something special to it. words cannot express how beautiful this is, i really love the atmosphere chilichili's songs create. kkomda's animation is really amazing, very pretty art style :D
and paimon should really be appreciated more, she cares about us and has traveled with us for three whole years.
from my observation, Paimon is generally adored all over (CN, JP, not sure about KR because that's the one language out of 4 that I'm not competent in), the only section of the fanbase where she's seemingly hated is among EN fans.
@@airstyles1989 yeah, most of the western fandom think paimon in english sounds annoying. i speak chinese and play on chinese voicelines, and i have to admit chinese paimon do sound calmer, though english isn't annoying for me for some reason lol.
@@pixelxiangsu Outside of voice, I think another big reason is because western gamers are more geared toward "individuality"
I mean, there's a reason why "character creation" is far more common in western games, while in JRPG/Chinese RPG, you usually play a "made character" with a distinct role, and sometimes, have to play other roles.

What east and western players enjoy in their "Role-playing" game seems to be very different. That's not to say they cannot enjoy games with Final Fantasy, but there's a reason Dungeons and Dragons is not a thing in the East.
@@airstyles1989 i mean the EN paimon voice isn't that bad at the beginning of the game tho . Idk why they choose the annoying voice instead of clumsy and cute , I mean you still can make her character likeable while exaggerated like jpn voice . EN voice after the silly voice at the beginning of the game is just grates to my ears ( Her VA is good but the problem is the voice direction which i heard Paimon EN VA said that the EN voice director want that annoying voice ) so i was switched to CN voice and never go back.
I swear if paimon is somehow our enemy or related to it, I just can't bear it. Though the possibility is almost non existent, but her existance itself is still shrouded in mystery
If this cute little marshmallow ends up betraying us in the end, I won't actually be mad. Instead, I'll applaud the writers for these incredible set-up and storytelling. It's predictable yes, but it does hit right in the gut. Paimon, I swear, if we end up fighting you, I refuse to continue playing the game. You win my best ever travel guide.

I must stop for crying and realized how much love paimon give to Traveler.
I stopped playing genshin since patch 2.8, and now i return on 4.1, it 3rd anniversary. So much memories i went though once again, so much of them, remember those i meet from genshin, tried to contact them but its too late, remember newbie mistake like using primos on the standart banner, so much memories start coming back, and i can hear paimon voice once again, finally hear my dear flying mascot voice again.
