    I just don’t get why they feel the need to get a giant jug that requires three bottles of detergent to fill up. If you buy bulk at Costco and move some product into a smaller container for ease of use I get it, but they are literally pouring it into containers that are 4x as heavy and harder to move around?? Not to mention if one day your glass container breaks, you will lose so much product… ugh

    • @Antoinette6
      @Antoinette6 Před rokem +2

      it's because they don't want to refill several times everytime it runs out ... so they put it in a larger container for it to last .. and also for aesthetic look .. maybe they only put it in one place since they have separate spot for laundry area they don't have to carry or move it in different places

  • @mariavedernikova5910

    Jeez, I wish they restocked at zero waste shops to reduce the plastic packaging. Since they use glass containers they could do that.

      Well there aren't a lot of restocking areas in places that aren't big cities, at least not in the places I've lived, and even then I've not heard of them outside the comments section of youtube videos. There's a very real possibility that they either don't have access to one (like me), or don't know about them.

      I can only speak for myself, but I use the “dark wash” detergent for my dark clothes, free and clear detergent for the children’s and my clothes, add Oxi to the whites, periodically use sanitizer for the towels (kids sometimes leave them bunched up in their room after shower while they’re still damp), fabric softener, scent booster (particularly for the towels and bedding), and I’ve been known to use the “active” odor protect fabric softener for the stubborn gym clothes and/or during sports seasons. Then the dryer sheets to match the scent of fabric softener where applicable.
      ETA: can’t forget the Woolite for hand washed delicates.

    Before I started watching these videos I never understood why there was such a huge problem where some kids would accidentally ingest cleaning products, and I totally get it now. It's the same, easy open glass cookie jars or literal beverage taps that are made for lemonade etc that they do in the kitchen. It looks close enough in the eyes of a kid and I'm just providing a kid's perspective not attacking people personally or saying they are a bad parent. It's just you may not have thought of this perspective and that's ok, but I'm not attacking you. It doesn't matter if you use custom labels or not because odds are kids won't read it because they're in a safe environment where they're used to grabbing food and going off to do kid shit, and that's a good thing they're just kids. You can totally have a clean safe env with a nice adult aesthetic, but just go about it slightly different. It's safer to use different colors, fonts, styles of jars (It's not necessary to have everything in glass jars you can use ceramic etc containers) to color code the environment than sitting down and explaining to your kids to know not to eat something in the laundry room and expecting them to remember it. Hell even typing do not eat on the jar in big letters on top might help... but any time I see kids items in a restock video and I see them reloading in the same clear glass jars I cringe a little and after seeing so many videos doing the same thing without seeing any comments about it it's about time to say something.
