I know a relatively large CZcams who has a relatively popular fishing channel and I’ve recommended that he watch this channel because in my humble opinion Richard Gene is the gold standard.

Mr Richard I’m originally from Mobile where I was about 99% saltwater fishing and the 1% was me fishing fresh water when the sea was rough. I just moved to Wisconsin about 2 years ago and have started freshwater fishing a lot after not fishing but a few times in a decade in TN. Now your videos are helpful to hear an Alabama voice and with the information but me and my boys are out fishing the locals with my Alabama know how and I’m starting my own channel now inspired by you and a few others. Hopefully people like it but at the very least I’ll be able to show my boys all the adventures we had while they were growing up.

Got a creek that size but its full of logs that I fish here in NC. It's loaded with lunkers, too! water is very low right now, 5 lb fish can be seen in almost all of the bigger drifts. They are super healty fish.

Used a kayak to fish part of a popular creek. Took a few rooster tails. Caught one crappie and a half dozen cats like the one Richard caught. Surprised by how many cats took the rooster tail. 6lb braid on a B&M dock shooter rod. Had a blast.
That's a nice rod Victor gave you, He has some awesome tackle .He is also a great guy and fisherman and I'm not surprised he gave you that rod, you do deserve a high quality toy. I'm 52 and a old bass fisherman, I've learned a lot from you two.
