No but that's life. The nostalgia really hits home especially with this music you know? That's exactly what happened to me as well! It was a Sunday night and I was excited to start my new job on Monday. I was so dedicated to Minecraft and my faction. All 74 of us had Team speak which is like discord now but I definitely remember just saying "Alrighty guys, I'll be as active as I can and I'll work around my job schedule! Keep the team speak alive!!" But I honestly didn't know that was the last time I'd turn off my computer until 5 years later... Co workers on the first day talked about the PS4 and how Call Of Duty and Overwatch were the next big things in gaming... Bought a PS4... And I just never turned on my computer anymore... Where'd all the dedication go?... It is so odd. But I'm not the only one like this so... Is this the new norm for Minecraft veterans?

January 27th 2024 my two childhood friends were in a car accident, killing the eldest and leaving the youngest in the ICU (as of March 1st, 2024). Wednesay evening (Febuary 28th, 2024) I got a phone call saying that my grandfather was in a terrible car accident. I made it to the hospital with my family and was given the news that my 79 year old grandfather had been killed. This year has been a rough one so far and the best way that I have found to calm myself down and clear my head is with this music. This game was my childhood and it brings me back to the times I have taken for granted with the ones I love, times I wouldn't dare think I'd see this soon. Thank you for this upload. Who would have thought a game about blocks would connect so many people?

I had three brothers while i was growing up, and the only way we could get along was through minecraft. even then it was still hard to be at peace with them. as some point down the road we all came together and my dad as well and created a world together. we played this world every night and hard so much fun. we had adventure, made farms, destroyed each others houses and so much more. i can vividly remember the struggle as we had to take turns due to there not being enough controllers for all of us. life was good, fun and simple back then. as i sit here and listen to this masterpiece from my childhood, tears flowing from my eyes, i am stricken with bitter-sweet feelings of my past, i picture the things i loved but also would love to replicate, but to no avail those dreams are. the last things i can remember from this time was the aquatic update and we went nuts over this. after the update was released we flew into our world and instantly started preparing to pillage a ocean monument. then my parents got divorced and our world seemingly faded into nothing as it slowly was never seen again. we also loved to create prison maps on creative and made so much stuff we saw on youtube, i just wish life is as simple as it used to be.

August 23rd 2017 my oldest cousin died from cancer. Every time when I come on his Xbox and see that he has been last online on Minecraft for 7 years makes me shed a tear. Always thinking how cancer won against him and to help me overcome this I listen to his favourite soundtrack. Minecraft.

7 years ago, I always went to my one friends house just down the road. We would play Minecraft for hours, building the best rollercoasters and houses and secret bases ever, we played on his PS4 on split screen it was the best time of my life I was only 11 at the time. We played Minecraft everyday and it never got boring we would fly around the world just having fun and doing whatever we wanted, we would laugh the whole day. Eventually 2 years later he moved away and I hadn't heard from him ever again nor spoken to him since that time peroid, until a few months ago when I heard on the news that he had a heart attack. It was the most devastating news ever, it felt like yesterday we were having the best time of my life, I'm almost finished school at this point and it made me think, time goes so quickly it felt as it was yesterday we were having the best times of our lives. Dr Seuss was right, "Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory".

I remember when I was in kindergarten and there was this boy that was obsessed with Minecraft... it was all he ever talked about. I didn’t know what Minecraft was back then, so being the little kid I was, I always told him that Minecraft was stupid and pointless... in 1st grade, I went to the dropzone (place where you jump out of planes), with my family, and I met a group of kids in the plane hanger. There, I saw them crowded around a tablet with a game playing. I nervously went up and asked what the kid was playing, and he said
“It’s called Minecraft. Wanna watch?”
So I peeked over his shoulder and saw him building a house of diamond blocks on a flat land. I was entranced, I thought it was so much fun, so creative, so free. I regretted telling the kid from my school all those times about how it was stupid, and pointless.
When we got home the next day, I asked my parents if I could download Minecraft on my iPad. They said sure, we got it, and I remember freaking out and crying because I couldn’t figure out how to get a flat world, haha... I ran to my room crying and left my dad to figure it out... when he finally did, I played Minecraft for the first time. I build a house of cobblestone, a few floors, and loads of carpet and flowers. I remember feeling so proud of myself, and everyday I would spend hours making new buildings in this world. It gave me so much joy, I felt amazing. The boy from my school that loved Minecraft and I became good friends, and we talked about Minecraft a lot together. Later on, I got Minecraft on our computer, and I would spend hours everyday after school creating buildings in it, new contraptions... it’s no joke that there’s over 100+ builds in that world, and they weren’t small either...
My friends and I would play over the years, make things, laugh, I didn’t know how horrible life would become. I haven’t played Minecraft in forever. The joy it gave me has faded, nothing truly excites me anymore. But I miss it. I miss my old friends. I miss the feeling of discovering new things every day. I miss being happy.
So here I am crying to this music, in my bed, 6+ years later. Since then, my friends have faded away, we don’t talk anymore, my parents have gotten a divorce, my dad has done ‘things’ to me, my new siblings are both self absorbed brats, our aunts moved in and our house smells of smoke all the time, the only food in our house that we buy nowadays is so unhealthy that I’m trying to starve myself, but I can’t make myself no matter how much I torture my mind, my mother refuses to do anything about it, all of my joy has sparked out.
I love Minecraft. Thank you. And whoever is reading this, it’s okay. You can cry if you want. The rest of us are crying with you.

I remember the years I played this game for the first time. So carefree so blissful. Now, life is hitting so hard. $1800 in the bank to start. I need a job, I need to get a car, I need to finish school, I am going to need to get an apartment, I need to get my foot in the door for trades before Im left in the dust and most importantly I need to choose how to balance my family-friend life with my wok life. It's all happening so fast that it's unfair. In just a couple of years, I'll be an adult. I wish I could be a kid again. I wish I could live my childhood all over again, just so I could cherish it more.

Just realised I'm tearing up. Every time I hear Minecraft's music it hits home. I don't wanna let go of these memories. Not yet. Not Ever. It's something that keeps me sane. Something that reminds me of the good old days. The days when I could come back from school, boot up the console and launch Minecraft. I could make anything I wanted, a roller coaster, a giant gold box, a wolf army. I remember downloading the demo for Playstation Edition and building a little water slide by digging underground for about 10 blocks. It's so nostalgic I don't even know to laugh or cry. Buying the full version and exploring the full tutorial felt like entering an endless world of freedom, starting a survival world felt like exploring uncharted land, and playing with a friend for the first time felt like belonging.
I just can't believe I'll never get to experience that joy again.
I miss the feeling of not being judged by other people, I miss being innocent from the world, I miss feeling that I can rest

When i think of old Minecraft, I have one memory I think of, one world I think of. I was like 5 and I was playing with my big brothers. I remember when I built a big SpongeBob with a really big butt. Idkw. I miss all the houses I built. My previous worlds might’ve not been those worlds, but all of my worlds got deleted. I had like 400. The worlds I made when I was 6, best time of my life was when I was 6-10 then it all went to shit for like a year, it’s better now. And whenever I played those old worlds I got so happy and forgot everything that was happening. It was prime. Thank you Minecraft for supplying me with such great memories. It was amazing.

Я тут поседел и подумал что хочу поделится одним из ранних воспоминаний что я помню ,крч это было когда мне было лет 1 от силы и я играм вместе со младшим братом на XBOX 360 помню один из миров в котором мы часто играли я часто предлагал дом в скале мол так удобно и шахту построить и защита хорошая в том мире я помню что мы первый раз за то время нашли алмазы мы были очень счастливы но их было 3 а как делить мы их будем не подумали вы итоге мы чуть не подрались в реальной жизни из за этих алмазов.

Almost ten year since I first played Minecraft on the Xbox 360. Never once have I ever beat the game in survival. Not sure if I ever will, I wish I did back then because now it's hard and time consuming. What a time it was to be alive.

I remember when me and my two brothers would play for hours, we built crappy, wooden boxes for houses, never found diamonds, and just had fun playing together. Now my brother moved out, and my twin never wants to play anymore. I just wish I could go back to 2014 and spend more time with them.
Same man. I used to play on the Xbox 360 and we got rid of Minecraft to make room for other stuff that we never actually ended up playing. Worst decision I ever made.
I don't understand why, but im sobbing. Something inside me feels that listening to this soundtrack makes me incredibly sad, but happy at the same time. Every time I clicked play, killed a creeper, fed my dog, built my houses, got that first diamond, dying to that zombie that spawned in your attic randomly, is coming back to me. All of those moments. The first time I typed in my friends realm code, that was probably the most useful 2 hours I have ever used of my life. I played when I was 5 to early 13, then something in me said "Time to stop" I am now 15, with my permit. I think it was the dead of Technoblade, or his announcement of cancer that really made me want to hang up the coat and say, "It's time for these worlds to be discovered by another person." I have one last quote I wanna type before I end this comment. Well 2 actually. The day I discovered Minecraft as a kid was a huge, huge day for me. I've always been an avid gamer, even as a kid playing everything from Mario Party and Mario kart on the GameCube, to playing the classic Star Wars: Battlefront games on PC and the classic Xbox.
I was on vacation with my family at this place in Sweden called High Chaparral, which is a wild west themed amusement park, and I was always the kid that went out and tried to find friends whenever we were in new places, so that's what I did. I set out to find friends.
I found this kid, I can't remember his name now as this was back in like 2010, but me and him had been out swimming in the lake that he camping area has for a while and he asked if I wanted to come back and see a new game he got called Minecraft, and being the avid gamer I always was I was excited to try something new!
We played for probably 2 hours before I got a phone call to come back to my parents so I went. I'll be honest, I was blown away at how fun it was and as soon as we got home, I got myself a copy with some money I'd saved up from chores...
I spent hours and hours and hours just building, making underground bases and houses and so on. I remember when slabs were first added and how confused I was that you had to use a pickaxe to break all of them, even the wood ones...
Gaming was always my distraction from reality, as my father was not a good father to me. Minecraft became my safe haven. It was the fame I went to for the better party of 5 years when I needed to escape the hell that was my home life, and although I don't miss being a kid because of how my childhood was, I miss being able to spend almost literally all my free time just playing my games and I miss the old ways of Minecraft, before the combat changes. I like tge new blocks and creatures and villages and so on they added, but the new combat system never sat right with me...
Anyways, thank you Notch and the rest of Mojang for being such a huge part of making my childhood bearable. This game has done so much for me over the years and it still does to this day.

I was logging on after school only 9 years old but I rlly wanted to impress my cousin cause she had loved Minecraft. Played everyday till my mom yelled “get off and go to bed!” Called her never an answer we were across the country. Just wanted to enjoy something together. She moved she seemed to old she said. I moved on as well. At least that’s what I told her. Played mini games on the 360 with my Minecraft friends and then my mom got me a Xbox one I was so excited! Played the crap outta that thing it’s still in my room haven’t logged on for 1 years now. The pain it brings me to grow up I don’t want to. I know im just some random person but listen to me. you will find peace in what you do someday you will find some happiness and you won’t look back and cry you will look back and remember the great times you had. Now don’t forget just keep your inner child inside and keep it safe. Live on always. Stay young.

Although it's a game it's community is different although we move on it's there just open up the game and play when you're down just play never feel to old you're never to old you just say so to avoid the past be someone new but the kid is still there we are all still kids just bigger and more responsible with age so let the old you out let them feel the past let you be in the past and name it the present remember you in the past

Yeah I did the same thing. My dad woke up at 6am for work. I woke up at about 4am, played until about 5:45 then went back to bed. I did this twice without getting caught. I miss that house, I wish my family didn't move.
I have fond memories of singing mob rap part one with with my friends on a school trip. Then they switched to part 2. I didn't know there was a part 2 and so couldn't join in :(

Aria Math is unlike any song I have ever heard. It is haunting, melancholy, lonely and soothing all at the same time. It feels both hopeful and mournful. It's like it's the end of one era of your life and the start of another. It is the sadness of knowing you can never go back to that time in your life, but the hopefulness of knowing you can create an even better one. I can't even really put into words exactly how it makes me feel but it is a fucking masterpiece
