I saved 150 energy per day for 30 days for Actus and got him to Epic 3 without any bundles, right now I'm testing 250 energy per day for TanGida.

I’ll do the same as you and not really play for the day before to max out tokens. I don’t feel that hoarding energy for say the week beforehand is worth it as you lose so much free energy each day.
Yep, it just feels bad to me and I def understand the arguments for it but I think where I am in the game, the little improvements are still more useful to me!
You don't have to go to the extreme. Just make sure you have max energy before the event and then buy the refills a few minutes before the event starts and you'll be ahead of most players.
Hi there, love the content, and especially the spreadsheet. But I found a few minor issues.
LE Tabs:
1) In every LE tab there are errors in the AB column. For example on LE3, it goes from "=COUNTIF($G$86:$V$97,$X10)" in line 10 to "=COUNTIF($G$87:$V$98,$X11)" in line 11, making every character from Aethana and below not being counted as picked, if you put them on the top line in "Core". It needs to be "$G$86:$V$97" in every line.
2) Basically the same also happens in Column AF for the score.
Legendary Progress Tab:
3) The conditional formating in the Legendary Progress tab is a bit wonky. The greens and red for columns I to T are not including Ragnar and Vitruvius (just set the area to "I10:T16,I19:T25,I28:T34,I39:T45,I48:T54,I57:T63,I68:T74,I77:T83,I86:T92,I97:T103,I106:T112,I115:T121") and there are somehow two rules for the light orange for column W and both don't include Ragnar (area needs to be "W10:W34,W39:W63,W68:W92,W97:W121")
4) The colour of the check boxes for Vitruvius does not match the others (black instead of grey)
5) Not sure why there's a rule to make the check-boxes for Ragnar green...
6) For some reason the font size on fiels U112 is 11 instead of 10?
This has been going on for a few versions now. Please fix, so I don't have to do it manually every new release

@@DBPreacherTacticus, thanks for the reply DB. Appreciate it. I would recommend between the 'upgrades tab' (left) and the 'LE tab' (right). Might be best placement as it provides the reader with a nice sequential slow (i.e., GRE -> LRE). Btw, the planner if fire mate. Thanks.

Great vid as always! Saving energy for 5 days to a week really ensures Epic by event end. While this slows down progression during this week, not having to use Onslaught to ensure a new character can be LRE ready is worth it.
Onslaught is much better used on Legendary characters for the badges, as you need so many badges getting a character to 50. Especially since Onslaught can hit a cap.
You lose out on energy but I feel the trade off is worth it for Onslaught worth. Perhaps not so much for newer accounts, but definitely for mid to late game ones.

@@DBPreacherTacticusI only usually get to Epic 1, as after I get to this point I take my foot off the gas.
Legendary Imperial Badges are just too high value to not farm by Onslaught. Bellator, Calgar, Thaddeus, Roswitha, Helbrecht, Ragnar, Yarrick, to a degree of LRE need Isabella, Vindicta, and Vitruvius are off the top of my head for Imperials currently in game that are very useful to get to lvl 50 skills.
Considering you need over 50 legendary badges to max an ability out, with many characters having both abilities viable for upgrading, then you start to see the mountain of badges needed. Especially when you factor in new releases, such as when Dark Angels get completed as well as Blood Angels who are in high demand.
Until something changes, there will always be more characters that cannot be farmed reliably than can. Minimizing the amount of finite Onslaught charges needed to upgrade will always be worth losing some energy during a week, in my opinion. G1 is a fantastic starting point, as it at least allows near full LRE potential
Ah so how much Blackstone do you spend during the event?
@@DBPreacherTacticus It depends on if I’ve bought a BS bundle for 110 refills every day that month or not.
The goal is to get to over 1k energy saved, so 4 days of saving if I go up to 110, or 7 days if only up to 50.
With the TA final reward, I’ll be starting this event with a little over 1,400 energy and will update you on my progress by the end.
Bear in mind that the more hyped a character is, the larger chance more people save up. I’d rather be safe than sorry when it comes to using Onslaught tokens. Legendary Badge consumption is no joke lol

Definitely! Every month they release a new character using this style of event. We‘re just waiting on the announcement to see who is next!

That s the goal of devs, thus why they are blocking some key Heroes behind paywall.
Oh yes, no question about it but for me, I am personally happy to support the game because I love playing it. It’s different for everyone through, I can definitely appreciate that. Perhaps that’s something I can dive into in the future a bit too.
