Did this 45 min a day, kept my Food intake "healthy" and ate more veggies, lean protein, fruits and small portions. In 20 days I lost 17lbs just doing that just that. No fried foods, no junk foods and snack a little when I felt a little hungry but discipline is key here and good rest. You lose more weight when are "heavier". In which case, I weighed at 210lbs and lose 17lbs. My height and weight guideline suggest that I stay at least 170lbs. Your body has been wanting to lose that much weight and it shouldn't be above 180lbs at max. I feel "lighter", my feet don't hurt as much, i have more energy, my blood work looks amazing and cholesterol levels are back to normal. I am going to pursue 170lbs weight by summer. You want to mix it up but as long as you are putting in 30 minutes of working out (best if cardio), it's a good aim to lose the weight then maintain. Riding inside four walls will help you lose weight but might feel feeling boring after a while being in the same setting. I don't really know your routine and circumstances, so only if it's possible. The only thing that stopped me was a deranged person in a BMW screaming at me to get a certain body part of mine on the sidewalk, even though it is illegal in my state for anyone over the age of 12 to ride a bicycle on the sidewalk. This deranged person used a well placed hit to force me onto the concrete sidewalk, hip first. I spent 14 days starting on July 11th 2023 in the hospital with a broken right femur, a broken trochanter (ball joint on the femur) and a broken right hip bone. Be mindful of deranged people in a BMW and avoid them at all costs. It doesn't end up well.
For about a month I had some decent breakfast in the morning usually eggs and spinach, after that I had some green tee and went on a mtb ride for about 2 hours. I went from 230 to 200, it’s amazing what biking and the right food can do for someone.
I personally was up to 195 lbs. (at 71") for around 3 years or so after moved the last time and had dropped the running. Walks, hikes, and calisthenics only during that time. So I wasn't unhealthy, or even fat, just overweight. At some point it hit me that I was just too heavy and I was closing in on 200 lbs, which would of been absurd for me. 195 was BMI 27 or so by the way. The point being that you have to realize for yourself from a key point when you have to reverse course and make the corrections before you really become a fat bastard. So right now from a combination of cycling, stationary bike, and temporary diet restrictions, I'm maintaining under 160 pounds when my high school weight was 165. I'm like I should be again.
I cycle atleast 30 miles a day if not more, they say an hour a day is 1 pound a week, I ride my bike atleast 3 hours a day at the rate of 13mph atleast, I have notice changes I'm just 2 weeks of doing so, my "love handles" are going away and overall my body is more toned, keep in mind, I am riding a bike not cycling.
If your goal is to lose weight then just stay in the endurance zone. Dont do intense work out cause it will drain your body then you feel tired and lazy then you eat alot then you stop. If you can extend the duration to 45min to an hour also dont forget rest days. 2 days max! Consistency is the key!
HIIT is not ideal for folks who are overweight. But best to start that when you've already lost weight and are accustomed to getting your heart rate at a proper level. Overweight and hiit is dangerous for the heart because you're forcing it to overwork. Your heart needs to slowly adapt to exercise so you need to find one such as walking or very light jog (or cycling) 30 minutes a day. First two weeks needs a gentle wake up for your heart. Your 3rd week should be more moderate pace and your heart has had time to get used to the demand and your heart knows and understands you are asking for more. Your lungs will tolerate and adapt to get more oxygen into your lungs and to the body. Keep it slow.

What bike is this?
Twin I lost 10+ pounds in a 3 weeks ( it was hell but having a fast metabolism helps a lot)
What you mean it was hell? did you have side effectts/?
Did you go on a diet while you were doing it? And Have you noticed changes in your body? Sorry for asking too much i just needed to know
Well done I want to do the samewhat kind of workout did you do? Hiit?
I had like 20mile cycling 5days a week for three months (no diet change). Gotta say my beer visceral fat disappeared. Ofc some weight lifting just coz my friends go to gym😂 I can't cycle indoors respect✊🏾
Good stuff 👍
Well done brother

So how's it going?
@@learnalongnature1336 been unmotivated and falling into the ways I was taught growing up.. I’m about to start at the end of my work week though, every single day!!! I’m starting today by fasting , then after today I’m going to do a 3 day juice fast , and then after that it’s game over… :) these next 4 days will be the hardest part of my journey.

Just bought a Sunny spin bike as well, is buying cadence sensors or speed sensors worth it?
Well done
Thank you!
10 lbs is usually that extra water the body holds on to. Once you workout consistently for a while you do lose that 10 lbs of water.
Inspiring
best for joints
Good job bro
