No doubt, the most beautiful city in Poland. I love Toruń, Wrocław or Gdańsk too, but Cracow is exceptional. I were there at least 10 times and I always come back with joy.

I'd recommend one day trip to "Ojców National Park" which is about 20 miles north from Kraków. Cute castle of Pieskowa Skała, weird rock called "Herculess Club", and astonishing nature all around.

Just my advice having been to Krakow. You won't regret it. I thought Paris was as good as it gets. Stay in the Jewish Quarter. Pay the guys in the Golf buggy for the tours in the Jewish Quarters, (I know it varies depending on how your host is, but our guy was fantastic. Try and see as many churches as possible they are amazing. The cathedral at the castle is a must. The guy in the golf buggy told us this, and he wasn't accurate. If you go there you will enjoy it. I expected to be semi-impressed but was blown away.

We took the usual golf car tour and visited a Church in 2017. But nothing was explained, not even the name. :-)Time to learn more..

What part of town would you recommend for hotel (Old Town)? Also is there a hotel you recommend? (no children with us).
Google it out. You'll get all info you need and you can book it online. Prices around £20 per night for airb'n'b but you can find cheaper one. Quality's good. And there are hundreds of them. Hotels are more pricy, the cheapest option is any hostel if you don't mind share room and bathroom with strangers.
