I'm starting to realize that things zoomed are pretty creepy and fascinating at the same time......if that makes sense.
The world of small is much bigger than the world of big. Humans are closer in size by a large margin to the entire observable universe than we are to the smallest theorized thing.
Yep, and I also find that large objects in space are unsettling too, I think it's because in both cases our brains can't TRULY comprehend that scale

The mold on the bread when zoomed in looks just like a small field of mushrooms; I wonder if all fungi have the same basic mushroom shape and are diff sizes?

Awesome stuff! I can't tell you how many times I sliced off the moldy part of a block of cheese or piece of bread and ate the "good" part. Your close-up of mold shows that by the time you can see a small bit of mold on some food, it has already spread over the entire surface but has not multiplied enough for you to actually see it......but it's there!

Such a professional channel. I suspect this is a team effort with a high budget going all in for a successful channel. It's such a good idea financially, rather than creating a start up for some company that might fail. Those can come later. Good job, I can see this channel growing exponentially.

This reminded me of when I got a magnifying camera that would plug into the TV.. this was at least 15+ years ago.. but I was playing with it and placed it on the carpet and actually saw something crawl around a fiber.. even though the camera said it couldn’t pick up things that small i played around with different lenses and was able to see that bug.. I think it was a dust mite.. but that was insane that I was even able to find one.. I spent weeks trying to find another and couldn’t
SAME! I never found a dust mite, but damn that was the best toy I've ever had as a kid, it was so mindblowing to be able to see the world through a (sort of) miscroscopic lense, i also had a legit microscope which I also loved but I preferred the TV magnifying camera because it was easier for my brain to comprehend what I was seeing I guess, if I ever have kids I'm definitely buying them something like this

The "bee" is not a bee at all. It is a yellow jacket wasp. Bees and wasps are not the same insects. Edit: it is a queen wasp as well, recognized by the seperated black dots on the abdomen

ofcourse the same rolling ball mechanism is used in larger objects like lip glosses and deodorants, but seeing it for pen is what i wanted to do.

A very interesting video. Starting about 4:23, this is NOT a bee, but rather a social wasp (of the species Vespula germanica). Unlike honey bees, these wasps do not lose their stinger when they use it, so they can sting several times.
