Nice reaction my guy!! Latasha Harlins was a 15 year old girl who got killed in a convenience store by a korean woman . The korean lady accused Latasha of shoplifting ( a bottle of juice) There were some words exchanged and Latasha decided to put the juice on the counter and was walking out when she got shot in the back. Latasha died tand the korean lady got 5 years probation and that contributed to the LA riots especially the targeting of koreatown. Pac read it on the newspaper and was f’d up about it. He also joined the riots and busted his gun in the air 😂 he was a real1. Sorry for my english ✌️
Oh and yeh Nas probably the biggest influence on Cole . He used to write Nas lyrics and stick them up on his walls. He’s done few interviews talking about influence of Nas on him and even had a song called Let Nas Down (Nas jumped on the remix to it )
He got some banging videos to the singles to this album. I let u know in part 1 that pac was on here, but both versions on 2pac album is better. Pac has to versions on the better dayz album. That's the album that came out and went up against godson.
This Album was dedicated to his mother, so in the song "Dance" Nas' father (a jazz musician) is playing the clarinet. It's one of the most beautiful hip-hop songs I've ever heard. So giving it a 9.4 is so disrespectful. You need to understand the meaning behind his songs. But hey, it's your show.
Besides Illmatic his best album is “It was written” no doubt . U might need to go back and listen again. And yes You need to jump into 3 groups : Wu Tang Clan , Mobb Deep , and A Tribe Called Quest . These are 3 must catalogs you have to explore bro fo sure.

This is real Hip Hop!
Check out the two thugs mansion versions on pacs better days album. I prefer them greatly.
That was Nas’ dad at the end of Dance

Checkout “Let Nas Down Remix” - J. Cole ft. Nas
Nas is always creative
Yeah, Jcole is heavily influenced by Nas. He has said it many times. If you want more insight, check out Let Nas Down and Made Nas Proud by Jcole
Good work. When you speak of GOtATS, there is only Pac and Nas. Next time dont skip the endings.
The rating on Dance was way too low.
Dance was the most emotional song on this album.
Give it another listen.
On Book of Rhymes he dissed Jay's boy Rass Kass.
You mean j Cole sounds like nas
Off Tupac album original
Theres heaven for an atheist, its called hell. I be listening to your theology like. 👀..🤔...... 😄
Pseudo Classic
I do not include Big and PAC in my greats because they passed away and have been surpassed by their peers.
Nas definitely better than Pac don't listen to the Pac-I-Stans
Nas is lyrical better Pac.
