Avoid attacking from the bottom since the ball turret essentially has a 360° view of every angle on the bottom. Attack high bacause the top turret can't aim up all the way.
You have to get used to tilt. One tip is to use your left thumb for guns on the left of the screen, and use right thumb for rudder while dogfighting. It helps you aim tremendously. Also, dont tap rudder and release it, instead hold down rudder even if it's centered. It helps prevent sharp movements
@@Mr_Pringles_-mi2lk Adjust tilt sensitivity. Also, when you load in, put the plane in autopilot, and tilt the phone as if you were going to take a picture of your feet. Then press calibrate, and take the plane off autopilot. It makes flying so much easier

The B17 has a radio turret section, which does aim STRAIGHT UP. so b17 essentially has 360⁰ gunner coverage
