Awesome Dave you are thinking on my level with the plastic welding! Its not a hard skill to learn and is super useful for so many applications. Idk why more people don't ever plastic weld. Best way to fix things properly and save money vs buying new plastic parts.

Damn that's beautiful, I'm so impressed, very creative indeed. If you're looking for suggestions on LED bulb upgrade for your tails, I recommend Philips Vision. (I felt like mentioning what I have in my daily driver), I have 6 bulbs(2 are tails only 7440, the other 4 are tail and brake 7443) installed on my tails for about $70 3 yrs ago. My turns are the JDM Astar on both front and rear ($40) with the JDM Astar electric tunable flasher relay($10 iirc), installed 5 yrs ago. Everything still works like new and still very bright. Reverse are Samsung 921($20 eBay been 2 yrs) My 3rd brake light(5 bulbs) and license plate and front side markers are all 192 LED Philips Ultinon as well (about $20 per pair been 2 yrs with these). LED everything while keeping it the clean OEM look.

pop a fiberglass mold off it and make a quick fiberglass rear bumper without the seams ...
That way he can have a spare just in case this one gets damaged beyond repair.

One of the best looking custom rear bumpers I've seen done on CZcams n there's plenty. Just awesome, sleek, sporty, luxurious and just everything.

Plastic weld Staples might have been a better idea vs glue. Maybe a combination of the two. Turned out pretty good though.
