In the past, I’ve asked local shops and dry cleaners if they have any spare hangers. Especially shops because they WANT to get rid of all the hangers people don’t take home. Free hangers in bulk!!

I remember watching this before going to uni and being so nervous and scared. Believe me, you'll be fine! Don't buy too much for the flat, decorations can be accumulated over time! Think about what you need normally, plus laptop. Everything will fall into place once you're there. You'll be amazing and I'm proud of you!

When it comes to hangers. Keep all your clothes on your hangers and put a binbag over them. It keeps your clothes organised and clean during the transportation. It also makes it so much easier to put it all away.

I have one more year of high school and then I'll be going to a uni. It just struck me all of a sudden and now I'm just watching all sorts of vids about uni life and recommendations and stuff :'D
I told my mum I love her cheesy mash so she went out and bought me a potato masher and a cheese grater for my uni kitchen...
Big ikea bags work really well as a laundry bag for taking things to the washing machines!
I forgot my forks and my fitted bed sheets when I first started uni... just moved into my house for second year and I forgot all my coat hangers and a suitcase of clothes, I'm forever taking stuff I don't need home and bringing back things I've forgotten 😂😂

Best tip for hangers - just leave everything that is on a hanger at home and leave it on the hanger rather than packing them into a suitcase! Saves so much time when you get there too

At the uni I’m about to start at we don’t find out our rooms until we arrive, so we can’t preplan who is bringing what for the kitchen. It’s so annoying, we are going to end up with about ten million knives and forks 😄
