Lego marvel superheroes 1 are trying to make the characters resemble as much with the comics and superheroes 2 has taken much inspiration from the mcu movies
And some the comics but like only 2 or 3 of them
To put it simply, the first one is trying to be another iconic Lego game, while the sequel is just a little thing to push the hype of Infinity War
I don't think so. The first one was also inspired from the movie at first, but because the characters at that time were still few they ended up using the comic version
I wish they still went with the comic book looks like they do in the DC Games. What I don't like about current Marvel is that they take too much from their movies and aren't being creative. It's a copy & paste

No. The corresponding games are more fleshed out in turns of graphics and lighting. As someone with Nostalgia syndrome for LMS1, you can't deny it was lacking compared to the other games(that being LMA and LMS2).
Man, I hope the next LEGO Marvel game is the Infinity Saga.
After Star Wars, it would be really cool to see the entire Infinity storyline of the MCU in LEGO form

They would add probably "what if" versions of characters and bring speedsters back from lego marvel's avengers (also they should add speed demon (whizzer) from squadron supreme, makkari and runner, add classic groot, star lord, gamora and drax to classic guardians dlc and make uncanny avengers dlc with scarlet witch and quicksilver)

You used two different characters for Human Torch. The Fantastic Four one on the left is Johnny Storm while the one on the right is the ORIGINAL Human Torch who is Jim Hammond.

Fun fact: When Lego made the Spider-Man figure in the Civil War set and the model in Lego Avengers they used the scrapped MCU design that was gonna be used in Civil War. Lego usually isn’t given much to go off of when they make the sets and since Spider-Man was added into Civil War on such short notice they probably rushed to give Lego a design and they ended up scrapping that design and either Lego didn’t have enough time to change it to the final design or they simply didn’t know. Either way, the suit design from Lego Avengers and the Civil War line of sets had Spider-Man in the scrapped design but in Lego Marvel 2 and in the Homecoming sets they changed it to the final design in the movie

I only played the first two marvel games so here goes. I think Avengers is the best game of all three. Marvel 1 uses mostly the look of the comics while marvel 2 uses the movie looks for most and their voices just don't match at all with the characters. But Avengers is incredible because it combines both the dlc Is not just movie levels it's tv and comic levels, there are team up moves with specific Avengers, there's at least 6 playable areas, big figs could do the super jump. Most maps had a boss fight to unlock the character your fighting. Most avengers had a movie and comic variant. All this game needed was to have the Ant-Man and civil dlc for every console and maybe play through the civil war movie
I like To see what Lego Marvel SH2 see's the SH1 version

@@Ricky-1 yeah the initial. comment was a pretty bad take. The newer games have much better graphics and convey emotion a lot better through the characters animations like the hulk for example. But that aside, I feel that the newer games lack the imagination and comic esc charm the original had. Unfortunately the two sequels, LMSH2 in particular, were restricted to only use characters strictly from the mcu (no x-men/ fantastic four) and the open world wasn’t all that good compared to the first two either.
I always like how lego marvel superheroes was a mix of phase 1 and the comics
