Insurance in India is typically a scam. A common person who is not able to fight with insurance companies, cannot easily claim the amount. You will have one reason to get the amount and companies has thousand reason to reject. Eventually patient quits after rejection. Consumer rights are a laughable joke. Those who say you can file complaint to IRDAI, good for them. Unless healthcare is not protected by Govt for the common man, Private companies will keep looting.

If you have genuinely disclosed all your health condition I think there will be no problem. And after 8 years no company can reject your claim if they reject they will have to prove it is fraud or else full claim has to be given .
