What are good angled RCA cables for this? Besides the basic stock ones. Also do I need to get some with a ground wire or no if I'm using it for DVS mostly
I have this deck and it has the same style counterweight instead of the stanton style (original) one it comes with and I also have the s-shaped. I just got this deck a day or two ago but before that I got a mk1 rp7000 and it came with the same couterweight. Now the tonearm would not balance at all and this rp8000 does the same unless I put it way to the end of the arm til its near enough falling off. I thought it was the type of counterweight but I just seen you balance this deck with the same weight. Don't think the straight arm has anything to do with it but, do you think it may be my bearings? The rp7000 was loose and this one is but very slightly. Anyways what do you guys think it may be? And any suggestions on how to get around this?
Can you connect this turntable to a Pioneer XDJ-XZ (serato) controller and have all the functionality of turntable in serato?
In which side we turn the skip arm there is no markings on my 8000

Thanks for the video. If I use a djm 450 with them in pro event table do I still have to use them in combat position or is possible to use them in normal position?
My platter is stuck on my 8000! It won’t come off not matter how much I pull. Any advise on how I can take it off?
Hit the spindle with something ( not too hard though), this will loosen it up a bit & you’ll be able to take the platter off.
Newbie question. Can you play old vinyls on these or is it some new kind of software controller that looks like vinyl?
These are a hybrid of a Serato controller and a real turntable, so you can play old vinyls on them no problem!
Wow..you have a bus to catch..? that presenting of yours is really fast, but anyway good job !!
Can you play real vinyl records with this set up or do we need a different set up to play real vinyl records?
@@djkit OK thanks for the response but im having trouble getting the turntables to connect with Serato DJ Pro. I was able to connect the mixer to my laptop and Serato Dj Pro immediately recognized it but Im having trouble getting the turntables to work. Im using a USB cable to connect the mixer to the laptop and using USB cables to connect both turntables to the mixer. Am I missing a step? I would greatly appreciate some assistance.
Did anyone else notice how loose, flimsy & noisy the tonearm sounded when he was putting the cartridge on?
I noticed that as well, I wonder if this was something normal. Any loose bearing on the gimbal will cause skipping.
This dude is brutal with this new DJ gear...I wouldn't allow him to touch my equipment for shit! 👎
