I’m packing for my Club Med resort vacation and the lipsticks that I really want to bring with me are the Sisley’s. The sheer petal, sheer blossom and sheer rosewood and the lip balm. I have only about 30 lipsticks from CDP, Suqqu to Chanel but I love Sisley’s the most. Even the CDP Precious lipstick makes my lips dry but the Sisley’s don’t. Next on my list are Chanel lip balms because they don’t make my lips dry. Suqqu lipsticks do make my lips dry, though. The Guerlain Rouge G’s 2023 Holiday lipstick is also good because it doesn’t dry my lips, but my mom likes it so I gave it to her.
That's so interesting! We definitely seem to have different ingredients that work better for our lips as the Chanel balms are a bit drying for me but the suqqu are not.
I’m bummed I missed the live! It looks like I missed a lot of good lipsticks and swatches. You have a great lipstick collection! Thankfully I was able to watch it later. And it was nice to see Sadie! I hope you will do another live in the future! 😊🌺

I missed it live, but I am watching now. :) Thank you, Lexi, for all of the swatches and comparisons. I will have to try those lipstick sticks from Sisley; they look so good. :) My favorite lipstick formula right now is Chantecaille Lip Chic. That lipstick makes my lips feel well-hydrated and full. :)

I bummed that I missed the live. I really enjoy live formats. I would have asked if the Cle de Peau diamond lipstick in Pink Sapphire and Amethyst could be compared with anything as far as color. I know different formulas are not going to be the same but I’ve been looking for similar colors.
Definitely the pink sapphire is closely dupeable but I'll have to check for amethyst.

Thank you! I had on a 50/50 mix of the Cle de Peau radiant matte and natural foundations in I10 and the blush was kosas dreamland iirc.
I like the Chanel lipsticks more like the Coco Flash and Coco Bloom lipsticks.

I would like to know your thoughts on Prada vs Hermes eyeshadows! 😊
I personally prefer prada. I don't find the hermes shadows special for the cost. I love how the prada shadows have different formulas based on the finish and they perform really well on me. Imo, the prada shadows are some of the best on the market.

Is there anything out there more outrageously red than Dries van Noten Favourite Red?
It depends what tone of red you want, but there are some more neon shades like some limited edition hermes ones but the DVN is the best true red imo.
I didn’t think of this before to ask on the community tab 🙈 Can you tell me what’s similar to Gucci Painted Veil in both the matte and satin that’s not Gucci?
I don't have that shade as I don't purchase many gucci lipsticks but from the online photos, it kind of looks like Valentino 107a ode to natural or perhaps an armani lip power - maybe 107.

I think that switching cases without consultation with your loyal customers was a 🍆 move. They may not be forgiven
It just makes it worse as the cases were always described as being forever pieces and the last change they made, they kept the refills fitting into the new cases so that was kind of status quo. But oh well, I guess.

I am NEVER buying Guerlain Rouge G again. What a slap in the face to all of us who bought the LE Rouge G cases. They could hsve so easily made the new lipsticks fit the old cases.

I feel sad for you about Guerlain changing their cases. I’ve heard you talk over the years about how you engraved some cases for your daughters. I think it was a money grab and Guerlain should be better than that. I have a few of their lipsticks and cases but I won’t be purchasing any more.
