I got a bait and switch auto loading one as it's perks.
It also has volatile launch and high velocity.
Now I am clueless to what's good or not so I'm happy to hear feedback for it
Thats usable as a simple rotation gun for sure and its heavily future proofed. Pretty much nothing risks being broken or nerfed down the road. But cascade is REALLY good and lots of fun so, maybe go for another! I have 3 on me

I'm looking for a sticky nades/field prep/deconstruct roll with a reload masterwork for a "crouch and turn my brain off" roll for sustain DPS.
I got a mini frags/envious/bns and a sticky/cascade/deconstruct roll so I'm pretty happy with them
I hate having to set up Bait & Switch all the time, so I'm def going to try the Deconstruct roll..
It's kinda refreshing not needing to use the 3rd gun lol

So for deconstruct is it better to run sticky nades over spike? And if that’s the case is the launch and master work as detrimental to the whole roll like with spike?
Yes stickies basically doubles the ammo returns. And that does mean the barrel is less important. Although the spike nerf made the difference in Blast radius barely exist. It's not even a 1% diff now

@@schm1tyyrun spikes lol sticky not dmg buff 😂 switch bait is up for only couple shot same with explosive light so extra ammo reserves not really not needed. Spikes, assissin, switch or explosive is the roll you want.
For decon specifically, sticky is optimal bc the extra hits means it procs the ammo refund more often.
For any other 4th column perk, spike grenades is better but only marginally
so if i play titan exclusively s it better to use envious bait in all scenarios. if not, what are the titan reload evading starts?
Pretty much only strand titan which is just worse than strand warlock for weapon DPS
@@lazykb Even having to reload manualy and not having sticky grenades I found that deconstuct is much better than BNS. My roll is just auto loading holster and mini frags but man this thing is insane. BNS is annoying as hell . You get that ammo regen going and it does a ton of damage.
Is an envious bait and switch *without* spike going to be worse than a Deconstruct Cascade with sticky in most scenarios? Just can't seem to get that spike roll on an envious B&S
Cascade blows it out of the water DPS wise. As long as you can do instantly reloads. Spikes are no longer a big deal. Approximately 2% damage per shot.

Stickies are only good for Deconstruct. They're otherwise worthless.
how do you manage ammo on greandes. It feels like an ammo brick can give 3 rockets for a rocket but for a gl onyl from 2-11 maybe but the ammo drops are just not enough especially fro short time between phases. What do you think?
Unfortunately finder bricks for GLs are kinda ass even with scavs. Just make sure you switch to reserves and scavs before you pick up ammo after a DPS phase. All you really can do. This is another reason I say they're raid DPS specialized. Because this isn't viable in a lot of activities
I got one with cascade with bns and another woth envious and deconstruct and a third with auto loading and bns.

Cascade BNS probably. Envious cancels Decon while procced
I have a gold one with envious assassin,cascade point, and deconstruct. But spike nades instead of sticky. Is this ok or is it a must for sticky nades?
Stickies extend Decon a lot. Envious also prevents Decon from working so the gold border isn't really adding much value to the Decon side of the gun
use EA to get 24 in the mag, then change to cascade point you will get a lot of dps

is boss spec or backup mag optimal for cascade/deconstruct?
I'm not actually sure. But typically in most cases Boss spec wins out. Decon isn't as straight forward as triple tap so it's hard to actually math up thresholds for getting extra shots, because well it's slightly random
100% boss spec. Cascade runs out before you can empty a base-mag of 6. When it's enhanced, we might be able to get through all the shots. But even then, 7.7% total damage is too good to pass up on.
Should i use spike grenades?, or look for another perk in the second column?
With Decon stickies is major. Otherwise spikes or mag increasers both very good

It's okay. But stickies will make it generate ammo much more often. I'd keep farming
@@lazykb I've been looking for cascade bait n switch for weeks. If possible, I think you should feature the shiny roll with both cascade AND envious on column 3 and bait on column 4. I think that would be the ultimate roll.
@@longps9528 I don't have it, and I also think that it's definitely very strong. But the amount it's better than a normal roll isn't INSANE. And I also firmly believe it will be nerfed before Final Shape based off the clues Bungie has dropped so far

I thought it was BnS for less then 30s and Deconstruct for greater than 30s. For the 3rd, you want EA and CP. EA to bump up your ammo then swap to CP for damage.
Honestly i'd set the border even lower like 10 or 15s after using it more
@@lazykb Is highly dependant on how much you're using your other weapons, the more time you're spending on other weapons the longer it takes for decon to be better than bait . Total dmg wise decon is always better but the maths works out to be on decon that you shoot out on average 11 shots per mag. whereas cascade bait (no envious) with minfrag is 7 shots but gets 8.8 shots worth of dmg with bait procced for 6 shots. this is more dmg per mag for decon but it also takes even longer to shoot the extra shots (last few shots no cascade + 2 extra shots with cascade) . For example with double lucky pants rota you can easily stretch the ammo to the 28 sec mark (avg for a boss damage phase) . Not to mention cascade bait straight up has higher burst for multi plate short burst dps phases such as caretaker and expli.
Another very lazy but easy roll is field prep + deconstruct. Proly the easiest there is, just blow your load.
All in all, I've come to love deconstruct

For total damage Field Prep+Deconstruct is better because Cascade point reduces deconstruct proc so it becomes worse than bait and switch.
i got the cool cascade/envious and bait and switch roll but haven't used it once in a raid because of my skill issues (i die and lose envious). ALH deconstruct and even cascade deconstruct are way easier to use and more forgiving.
But dmg can be outdone by any rocket at that point lol 😂
Celestial + Lucky pants + gl is uncontested right now for dps imo. You can swap the gl for dragon’s breath if solo for insane total dmg
Lucky Pants doesn't compete with heavy special rotations. It adds total damage and has useful amounts of DPS. But it is relatively slow to deliver it's damage compared to heavy and special weapons. It definitely shines as a GM and hard general content pick though.
I prefer cascade + bait and switch just cause it's so fun to use with lucky pants + wardens. I don't mind the extra effort needed to pull off a DMG rotation with 3 weapon switching

Ive had exactly sticky nades, cascade, and deconstruct for a few days and didnt even realize its good, gonna start using it
Also crafted Supremacy is probably the best option for proccing cascade. Enhanced kinetic tremors procs from 2 shots from a sniper, so two birds one stone
It's a great pick! You can also hone izi and force reload it and double shot it too. Some fun tech

Autoloading/deconstruct is the workhorse I've been running with void debuffs

I use cascade bait on explicator bc its so useful for the short damage window, i use Izzy swapping when using the envious bait roll. I have yet to get a sticky, field prep/cascade, deconstruct but i want it just for shits and giggles and raw damage. Will focus edge transits again once i get my hammerhead im looking for.

Isn’t explosive light only 5% less but way easier to proc?
On GLs explosive light is 50% damage per shot. But it only works on 7 shots before you have to get more orbs. So its only good for the giga short damage phases, and at that short of a time frame there's better exotics like Parasite and 4th Horseman

I guess technically you could have the best of both worlds by having all 4 on a shiny variant. Denconstruct is going to be especially broken if we get an vehicle raid/dungeon boss
I actually have one with these four perks but no sticky nades unfortunately.

Well the true go droll is a shiny with both in the 3rd column and you swap before dps but with my luck I’ll never get that shit
I expect that to be nerfed in the future and it's unreleastic for most to obtain so I didn't include it. It's also not massively better than just using ROF for reloads it's only shaving off a few seconds early on

I knew deconstruct would pop off but I was staying away from cascade because I remember during the craftening with mulligan GLs. If you shot too fast or were too far from the boss then you would fuck up your infinite ammo loop very easily because you would either run out of ammo before getting your first proc or you would do all of your dmg at once and have the entire mag count as a single proc. Finding the sweetspot of Distance and pace is very important for deconstruct to work at its full potential. I''ll try it out tho
Cascade isn't hurting Decon or if it is it's minimal and the 66% faster DPS is worth it.

The damage bonus is only for vehicles and constructs.
However, the ammo refunding works on any enemy
The other comment under you is correct. I also THINK vehicles trigger additional ammo? It at least felt like that, but don't have any specific objective testing
You say this isn’t a good ad clear weapon and rockets would be better, but you clearly haven’t used chain reaction/destabilizing rounds on this yet. I have a shiny with envious/B&S and I can also switch to the the ad clear perks when needed. It’s prob my new fav gun for damage and ad clear.
I'm sure it's fun as a goofy setup and all but Gjallarhorn is not beatable from an adds and major clear perspective. Not to mention how much better ammo is on rockets
@@lazykb It’s more than just novelty ( for onslaught anyway ) You’d have to try it, lol. It has WAY more ammo than the Gally, doesn’t take an exotic slot, and I can usually have an entire hoard killed with 2 - 3 grenades. I’m not sure why it isn’t talked about more honestly. Then I just switch the roll when sustained damage is needed.

I’ve been looking for this roll and finally got it last night, super happy with it, I’m the mean time I’ve been using my cascade + BnS roll for pantheon and it’s been really good for the 2nd and 3rd bosses since your having to do high burst dps repeatedly (moving between plates)
Lazy went crazy with this one.
Ngl Prospector kinda cooks now, has lots of ammo with catalyst, and is easy to get.
I say this because many people watch these videos and still don't know how to use bait and switch and other perks and do terrible DPS
I tend to out DPS them with simple perks like vorpal and explosive light and no I'm not trying to flex or be toxic. Just saying sometimes its easier to not follow the meta :)
My goal is to get people utilizing good gear and learning to go from intermediate to advanced levels. But I can see that being a decent lazy choice. But there's good lazy rolls of edge as well

It says it on the perk description. You do damage with another weapon. So in DPS phase, you shoot 2-3 sniper shots then switch to edge transit.
My channel is for helping the intermediate players become advanced. Most of my videos aren't very understandable to someone who can't look up what a perk does or can't pause and read the description when I put it up

Correct. I said specifically that itself is "okay" for damage when talking about how versatile it is. It's mid DPS but there's much worse choices. But I said it's a great choice for DPS for a full team.
