Roles are NOT Permissions in Business Central

    Hello Erick, thank you for your videos!! One question is it possible to give read permission to the Customer table (18) but limit the access to the customer list page (22)

      Yes, you'll have to control access to pages in permission sets

    It's a great video. What should i do if i want to give a user Read only rights to all companies available?

      Create a permission set with tabledata 0 and only read access (plus login permission set)

    if we dont give delete permission on Sales Header, then system is not allowing that user to Posting the the Order. in that case what we need to do user should not delete any order or invoice?

      That's what indirect is for.

      @@Hougaard yes when we give indirect it throws the error - You do not have the following permission on tabledata item:Modiy to view details about your permissions. See the effective permission page

    Not make sense, in that case every defaults role should have a default permissions set. To accomplish what everybody is looking with the roles.
