What a beauty - When I was a kid, I saw a BMW just like this parked across our house and I have been in love with this car since then. Thank you for sharing this.
Hey Greg -- that must've been a treat. Do you still have it? I bought a 3.0Si in NZ, in this colour, back in 1996 or so... and my goodness I loved it -- but at 180k miles it was too old, and I was too poor to keep it good. I sold it (along with a spare donor that I towed out of a barn somewhere in the Kaimai) to SD Sports. In my dreams I will pop in one day, find it under a tarp and restore it.
Had one back in the day. A wonderful car. Fantastic handling. As much power as any sane driver needs, and the amazing greenhouse. You can see everything from the driver's seat. I loved my Bavaria, and I went through at least 15 BMWs over the years. This car and the 105 series Alfa GTV are probably my favorites.
My very first and only BMW and man, did it leave a life-long impression on me!! I had a 1975 3.0 Si that I absolutely loved as it was powerful, great ride quality, impressive handling, comfortable and unlike the newer BMW's, Audi's and Mercedes-Benz when you opened the door of a German car back then and earlier that had leather upholstery, the scent of the leather hit your nostrils immediately with power might I add, and that inviting pleasant scent is now gone in the newer cars sadly. Live long 3.0 Si !!!‼️‼️♥️💖💯
my uncle had the same one in creme leather ,back in the early 80s ....the Donky sold he car ! I did told him ,i work hard and very soon i will buy this beauty !
Oh mein Gott! Was habt ihr denn da für ein wunderschönes Auto? Gut gemacht, sehr gut gemacht! Habt ihr auch schon mal einen 1100 er Simca restauriert? Ich habe in meiner Jugend zwei davon besessen und mir geschworen das ich mir wieder einen kaufen würde wenn ich 65 Jahre jung bin! In zehn Tagen ist es so weit doch leider bin ich wegen meiner kaputten Knochen und Gelenke mit 40 Jahren berentet worden. Das ich nach den 25 Jahren in denen ich in die Rentenkasse einbezahlt habe nicht viel Rente bekommen kann ist wohl jedem klar! Aber ich klage und jammere nicht! Schade ist nur das ich mein mir selbst gegebenes Versprechen nicht einhalten kann! Aber es gibt ja die schönen Videos von euch in denen ich mir all die schönen Autos angucken kann! Dankeschön dafür!
Another beautiful BMW. I used to know someone who had a 3.0 Bavaria. It wasn't as pretty as this, but it wasn't awful. It just needed some cosmetic work done. :)
Well actually i'm keeping my yellow e3 now and still buy the green 633csi and have to really good cars and also I got a e21 320i amd 735i e23 i'm keeping aswell

My pops had 1 I. The 80s,, it was such a smooth running car.. 100mph in no time super car..
