Loving the new map. Im doing Fallow grind on Te. Started it today and moved some tents around for efficiency reasons. 90 into it shooting 3s or bigger. 2 diamonds today with a nice chocolate one !

I notice that too for other animals, some zones wont show up until your second round! It reminded me of how red deer zones work on cuatro back in the day. They wouldn't all show up until you found a certain amount of the zones.

yeah you have to really triple check all your zones.

if you on pc you can go steam and it gives a rough indication of when it can be downloaded. think it will be in the morning.

I'm planning on turning Te Awaroa into a double-function map: red deer and fallow deer GOs. When either species gets too much hunting pressure, I'll switch, and then back again. :) The problem is I have a hard time with the fallows that drink near the ocean, on those steep hills. Any tips?

Use a water fowl floating hunting structure. Can’t remember what they are called.

stick tents in between zones so you can just fast travel to them.

@@dgeesiogaming The issue is more that the hills are too steep for me to set up a tripod, like I usually do. Water blinds will still hide me a bit regardless of what I'm hunting, correct?

@@EpicGalaxy I use the waterfowl boat when I’m set up next to steep hills. Works just fine.

I got sick of those zones! What i did was do enough herd managing just to have most the level 4s go somewhere else. My fallow zones on the coast i kept some level 4s only on 2 zones, near the outpost so i can just run down a shoot. I ignore most the coast unless i am missing a solo male, he most likely spawned down there somewhere so i have a few tents on top of the hills to get there.

look at steam if on pc. it will say how many hrs till unlocking. no official time yet.
