Katona is playing this the smartest. He knows it’s all about getting wins by taking the least damage. He’s also totally right about not wanting to learn something new a week before the fight
totally agree
my thought exactly. The show is too short to actually learn anything meaningful. What you came to the show with is pretty much how you are going to fight. All the coach can do is formulate a plan using your current skills against the opponent.
Smartest? 🤣 yeah the look on Dana’s face tells me he’s doing a great job, laying and praying.
Winning is more important than anything else at this stage.
Completely agree.
Really enjoying Michael Chandler’s coaching on TUF, he’s the man 👏👏👏
yah hes way more invested in his guys than conor will ever be, thats why chandlers students are undefeated
@@PickemMMA fr man
I don’t blame Katona one bit. These fights are serious, life or death, so to speak. If I was fighting like these dudes I would want to be prepared and know every detail as well.
Brad is 100% right. He’s there to train and win.
I agree with Katona on the whole introducing very specific stuff a week before thing. That would mess up my flow a little bit and not make me feel my absolute best. I get where they come from when they do that, but I’ve seen it mess up other fighters too multiple times during this show for many years. I get it, but to me, not the way to go out the sharpest.

If you became a Conor fan in 2017, you’re used to being let down.
Lol all the Conor haters were his biggest fans just a few years ago . Ya know the same people that said Alex pereira had Izzy’s number , now their back to being izzy fans. It’s hilarious.
Oh man, you are correct. How the mighty has fallen. From PPV shows to side shows.
I met Conor in 2017 he's a great guy
2013
Brad Katona is right though. MMA is a very selfish sport, when you step into the cage, you step in alone.
No Katona had mcgregors ego in his mind and didn't want to participate with Chandler. That's it. Katona wanted mcgregor to coach him because they're already team mates.
He’s the weirdest person I ever heard
Conor: *you’ll do what you’re toId*
Chandler: yes boss
@beaualoevv get off your knees 2023 youtube noob
He is literally a nicer Dillashaw
People hating on brad are weird. Dude is being selfish. This could be his last chance to be in the UFC. I would be selfish too. You got to be sometimes to be successful.
I wouldn't say this his LAST chance to make ufc, he's only 26, still has 10 years left atleast in fight career if he takes care of himself and keeps leveling up
But is he DEE GUY, I've seen this guy before he is tough for sure but is he DEE GUY like a rising young Conor or khabib? Everyone on the show believes they are thee guy, the one otherwise why are they even their?
And there's nothing wrong w asking questions and dialoguing w the coach and questioning things.. this is Michael chandler after all and Conor McGregor too.. it's not being a diva.. diva is the wrong word.. it's about being passionate about taking career to next level and performing to the best on the big stage.. as long as he's respectful to the other competitors and the coach I don't see him doing anything wrong really at all
@@frankc3080how many people get a THIRD chance for the ufc? Exactly. It was his last or atleast would have a MASSIVE mountain to climb
@@Nameplease12blacknobility wake up and smell the coffee Kalmer, aka Mr. Smarty pants lol.. life is a wonder, all you pay attention to are just to what's SUPPOSED to happen.. all the biggest champions were once a underdog from Tom Brady to Michael Jordan to whoever.. they turnt a loser into a winner into a champion.. NOTHING is impossible in this lifetime, especially for a handful of ppl ;)
2:00 😂 He's acting like he was completely willing to accommodate Brad's wishes. That's definitely not what I saw. Chandler even said on the show that he wanted to basically lie to him and then trick him into going with his own plane. Chandler didn't like it one bit and didn't want to accept him but Rashad read wrong and Chandler rolled with it to try to make himself look better.
Fair play to Brad, if he gets knocked out no one cares and they move on but it’s his life on the line. Michael would of said the same thing if roles were reversed.
nothing brad said was out of line? totally reasonable
Gotta love Michael Chandler.
funniest part is how little conor seemed to care about or like Brad, "he's a stationary boxer" "kick his cap off"
this comment is actually making me go and watch that part of the episode. When the episode watch count goes up by one, it was because of you.

After seeing how Chandler is handling Conor after last night episode it's hilarious how mad Conor is 😂😂 Chandler is nothing but professional it's sad he probably won't get the bag he deserves

@@insideand0utside651I agree although I’ve never heard him say those words either.
Coner is a horrible coach. Man clearly doesn't know what he wants or where he sits in life. Can't have a mess like that showing students the "ropes"
4:17 Michael “I do what I am told” Chandler
It’s crazy Chandler still thinks he’s fighting Conor. It’s getting embarrassing at this point.
Brad said what needed to be said at the time it needed to be said.
As it should be done.
I mean Brad seems like the guy that thinks he knows more than everyone. He sure acts like he knows a lot for a guy that got released. Seems uncoachable
The guy was born and raised in Canada and moved to Ireland to “train with Conor McGregor”. He’s a fan boy at heart
With all do respect all mma fighter's that are there are there either to get in the ufc or get back into the ufc for themselves, not to make friends!! You have to be selfish,it's a selfish game...
Chandler does what his coaches say, except fight night where he doesn’t listen or stick to a game plan
It takes two to tango
nick ‘the virgin’ caIIcutt
Chandler won with no cage fight, all mental and he won this!
Putting aside your ego means it’s still there and clearly is still affecting how you treat them
This was the longest version of "I don't think for myself" I've ever seen. I think I'm seeing what Dustin did.
Same man. Dustin really opened my eyes to Chandlers antics lol
IDK daniel cormier didnt have any problems with brad. seems like a chandler issue
I see Chandler is still happy to be doin what he's told.
Did Brad Katona used to be in the UFC ?
Yeah, before he got cut.
so is the fight in 2024??
he missed the deadline
Might be in Neveruary.
What a terrible format for this show. It wouldnt have made a difference who the coaches are, you cant match a bunch of vets against "prospects" who are older and dont have the experience and not get a mismatch. UFC dropped the ball big time here
mcgregor chose the "prospects" at both weights
Calling a fighter a diva for taking his career serious is ridiculous. The man’s career is on the line, it’s those kind of guys that make it to the top with that dedication.
Holy snap…! The more times goes by the more a dislike Chandler bruh…and I used to kinda like him
Respect for wearing a Bret Hart Tshirt. From my country and one of the greatest pro wrestlers in the WWF. and a great human being.

His name is Robert Paulson.

@@Butch_DeezlsteakLmao you yes
How is Conor even considered a coach? He doesnt seem to possess that skill set, which is evident in the fact that his team is getting destroyed by Chandler's.
His team is all newbies compared to Chandler's though. You really expect them to get wins against the experienced dudes? I guess it's possible if a future champ is among them
Who here after brad became tuf winner again
Brad did nothing wrong, he just wanted to be prepared as much as he possibly could for a fight that could make or break his entire career
Phouck chandler, Brad is totally right
CHANDLER IS THE ONLY ONE WHO THINKS THE FIGHT IS HAPPENING.
Brad Katona was born and raised in Canada and moved to Ireland to “train with Conor McGregor” in 2016. He’s a fan boy at heart
Him and mcgregor almost never train together. His interest In SBG was in John Kavanagh’s philosophy and methodology in building a world champion. He read Johns book and since they are both mechanical engineers they think alike.
Mike should just move on man and fight someone else then come back to the Conor fight after. We're looking at another year before this fight is even possible. And Chandler isn't getting any younger.
UFC released Brad years ago becuase he was diva
I really like Chandler's attitude with this whole Brad Katona situation - I completely understand it from both sides but it's so respectable of Chandler to put his ego to the side
where's after tuf episode 5
On MSNBC, it's free to stream
don't remember the last time this guy won.why is he getting so much attention?
poor chandler thinks hes still fighting conor lol
you dont have a team with you when your in the cage and chandler should know that hes just as big of a diva if not bigger
Brad’s a diva and acts like a top contender but doesn’t perform like one.
Mike & his 2 sons
I hope the Chandler's haven't bought any red panty purchases yet...
Why would Brad want his coach to coach him? Who watches film or prepares for an opponent? It’s not like he’s about to get in a cage and battle to unconsciousness soon! Oh wait…
L Chandler
Is chandler taking five years off waiting for Connor to give him his money night. Get back to fighting, it’s not happening anytime soon
Is anyone gonna talk about Brads phony accent? Dudes Canadian been living in Ireland for like 4 years.
Brad gon get spanked if he don’t cut that attitude out
By who? You? Fat fool.
What a silly unbalanced format poorly thought out by the UFC. It is clear the Vets would smoke the Prospects. Katona, Azure, Roberts and Valiev are legit UFC fighters against unproven "prospects" with part time jobs.
The vets have jobs too idiot
Why does everyone skirt around the fact that Conor is now a coke head? Pretending like they don’t understand why he is unable to commit to a fight.
Why is everyone who never done a bump in their life saying Conor is in fact doing it
