Haha, I don't think it's cheating if you do separate lists for tarot and oracle. My original question was only about tarot. I wanted to see which decks professional and personal readers chose to see them through and why. Adding in other systems was cheating because that limit to tarot was the whole point of my tag. Not that I mind people cheating/bending the rules, it's all part of the fun (and I totally added in two honourable mentions this time around)! I don't use the Osho card either but how the feck did I not know about the extra book?! Haha, Peggy's in trouble! ;)

It was fun to hear about your faves. I hadn't known much about the Tao Oracle before this but now I'm intrigued. I love that you're working with one card a month from the Dark Goddess Tarot. I've found that to be a really deep study, too. Thank goodness we don't really have to keep just five!

I store mine in my Peggybag, but I do believe Jamie recommends storing them in the box, resin to wood. I believe that's because the resin sides can sort of 'stick' to each other a bit. I added about a tsp of cornstarch and shook it around my tiles and that helped a bit to prevent them from sticking, but they do still sometimes stick a bit - though have (thus far) not suffered any damage when I unstick them. :D If you're worried at all about the potential sticking, I would store them in the box as recommended! ❤❤

Oh gosh I love Osho Zen, it's my first ever tarot deck! I had no idea what tarot was, I just loved the art and the book. I only use it for one- and two-card readings, I'm too intimidated to do larger spreads. Every time, it is spot on. I also have the Dark Goddess via app, in order to get the phenomenal extended book, which I fell in love with after watching Kasia / Tarot Map review her top 5 tarot books (czcams.com/video/gkzJ1357f9A/video.html)). Recently added Light Seer's Tarot from the mass market printing. Can't wait to work with it! My collection doesn't include any of your top 5 oracle decks, but I've now added Hero's Journey Dream Oracle, Tao Oracle, and the extended book for Osho Zen to my virtual shopping cart. Just wondering why people would dislike this video?? Maybe they're deck creators and offended you didn't choose their deck. I have an option to buy a secondhand Osho Zen. Still can't decide if I want it. Sadly, we can't get indie decks where I live due to postage problems. I'm now keen on the Dark Goddess and Tsao Oracle.
It can be the most arbitrary of things! LOL Sometimes people dislike because they don't like the quality, or me or the deck(s) or who knows! ;) I pay it no mind. I figure if people have actual feedback, they'll probably post it in the comments or send me a private note! As for the decks - Osho Zen might not be a deck I'd have reached for today if it weren't the deck I learned on, funny enough, because it does stray from RWS a bit (though one can see the correlation in many cards and can find it in the rest). I'd say watch a few walkthroughs and see if you're still interested. I'm sorry to hear there's postage issues!! Tao Oracle is not an independent I don't think. Is it just buying the decks new or even trades and things that are affected?
