Not quite. Eldest sister Lesley (born 1945, a year before Barry) is still alive and living with her family in Australia. But yes, the two oldest Gibb siblings are the only ones alive still.

kevin jones yasss! It makes you feel good unless you’re one of those hard-core grunge rock or hard rock music fans only. That’s why I like bands such as Queen. They did a little bit of everything and they didn’t care what the critics thought but played what they wanted to do and tried to write something for everyone to enjoy. If someone didn’t like one album, then perhaps they would like another one while another group may have liked the album before. Another one bites The dust brought it home for queen and they were not going to release that in America until Michael Jackson told them they should. It was the best business advice they ever listen to from a friend. Freddie had been working with Michael Jackson and Michael was listening to some of their music they put together for their upcoming album “! The game” and he told them they should release “another one bites the dust”. Roger Taylor said he wasn’t even so sure it was going to make it on the album because he thought it might be too disco but it was really more funk pop- NOT DISCO.They took Michael Jackson’s advice and released as a single alongside crazy little thing and it went quadruple platinum was on the charts for seven BAMM $$$$.

BeeGees; 3 brothers, Barry, Maurice, and Robin Gibb from Australia. Soo many hits. This song is from the John Travolta movie Saturday Night Fever. They also had a younger brother Andy who was a great singer too.

As a 10, 11, 12 year old in the late seventies; the two huge media stories were "Saturday Night Fever" and "Grease". It's difficult to over-estimate how mkuch those two movies were - everywhere!

I was only 3 in December 1977 when it became a hit. At first, I thought it was three black women singing. But, when I noticed later at the age of five or six. Damn! These brothers are braved enough to sing that high! You should listen to their underrated funky 1976 single, "Boogie Child!"

The Bee Gees (Barry, especially, [He's the only one still alive - the tall lead, good looking one}) grew to resent Saturday Night Fever a lot. Because it defined their careers and they didn't want it to. They had some AMAZING Music before the movie and soundtrack and it went all but ignored after the movie and soundtrack. Check out their earlier stuff too. It's awesome - Since I was very much "alive" during the Disco Craze... I am over it. LOL ♥

My Mom was really, really into the Bee Gees. I was in my late teens and witnessed her disco dancing. She's a terrible dancer. That's something I can never "un-see" lol Once the pain of it all subsided, I was able to listen to the Bee Gees again.
