  • I have so many 1/4 pkgs of colors and thought I would just make some flowers with them. Love how these came out.
I used Mustard yellow, pumpkin, and white.
All were Sculpey Premo except for pumpkin. Pumpkin is Sculpey Souffle.
Sorry for the rant. I'm tired, it's been a long day, and this world is just going more insane than ever!
I don't rant normally but, sometimes you have to let it all out.
    I'm sill me!

Anytime, someone puts a technique on social media, that technique is now free for anyone to do. Even if we get our inspiration from someone else’s technique, it is not going to come out exactly like theirs. I think that lady is being very immature and Possessive. Don’t lose sleep over it. We love you!

Thank you for sharing that you have anxiety. I also struggle with anxiety disorder and barely leave my house. Art has been my saving grace but since going on depression meds, my creativity is asleep. I am weaning off the meds because the tradeoff isn't worth it. I discovered polymer clay through Turtle Soup Beads but she "outgrew" CZcams and deleted a lot of her videos and went to Patreon. I appreciate you sharing your tutorials for free.

    1. A crazy thought but mine. Try putting yout hard cernit in a ziplock baggie with a slice of bread. For some reason it helps with baked goods so it is worth a try to see if it refreshens your clay
    2. The flower is gorgeous. Can you remove the outer most layer with your sharp tissue blade. Be careful of whatever inclusions are in that clay
    3. Thank you for so generously sharing your art and the process. The Oh-no as well as the awesome. It helps to know how to handle the ouchies, esp those that show up at the end of all the hard work.
    4. Take care

Of you can’t get ahold of her and she wouldn’t show you then that means she knows it’s not her technique. You have every right to be angry and hurt. You always say who you see techniques from and who’s your trying. That’s why I enjoy your videos. It’s her loss. We love you!
Edit: also for me it’s not because someone is stubborn, it’s the fact they know there wrong and won’t admit it. Which makes us feel that need to defend ourselves till we sound crazy. It can be a form of gaslighting. You don’t need to move beyond anything. You didn’t do anything wrong. And honestly I’m curious which video it is.

Very long story so won’t go into it but I always get blamed of told off for things I haven’t done, it’s sad but I have started putting myself first (not before my children) and life is so much calmer, even though I live in a terrace house between best friends who bully me with lots,of nasty little sneaky things but I’m not lowering myself to their level. Rant all you want. You're allowed. Especially when you're hurt by a friend.
My sister wrote quite a few chapters in the Book of Stubborn. She would NEVER admit she was wrong, held a grudge like no other and disowned me at least 3-4 times. She eventually came back around and forgave me 🙄 for something I didn't do.
Give your friend some time. She may reach out to you. And if she doesn't, don't let that bother you.

I thought the whole thing about videos and tutorials was to learn techniques from other people. You can't steal something that is on CZcams because everyone is using the same clays, techniques, methods of working. You take them and make them your own. Projects will surely resemble others work. I've heard you give credit when using a new method of doing something that is new. Sticks and stones🙂

I had a friend that did some crap things to me, I tried very hard to be a friend and I was more or less a live in CNA for the exes mom, and the ex brought her over to meet his mom, well she was Sh1+ faced and she was spilling beer on his mom, crying and telling me I didn’t belong there, sorry but being drunk does not excuse anyone for their behavior, so to save mom from her BS I decided she needed to go, yep threw her out literally got ahold of her by her cloths opened the door and shoved, the whole time she was yelling at me saying I had no right to do that because I don’t belong there. 25 yrs as a CNA I have never been treated like that and I wasn’t about to start, and that was the last time I ever talked to her. On that. lol I love this flower, and to think no pasta machine. lol easy but a pain in the rear sometimes. But so very doable. My sis in law and I tried looking for the cernet company here, and we found everything but a building for a cernet company and makes me think and wonder if they are not running out of a house, because behind all the buildings is homes, and well we have extreme heat then winter it snows and if it’s in a garage and a person buys it, 🤷‍♀️ don’t know what your getting. lol but we also didn’t go down the opposite side of the road because it’s all homes there. So we never know. The place is hard to find. Ok enough rambling. lol tfs really love the flower. Hugs from AV

Beautiful flower! By the way.....I have to say this...in Your defense, and speaking about what you were expressing your feelings about.....WE HAVE ALL LEARNED FROM SOMEBODY! ALL OF US! We have all done someone else's "technique" before! Years ago, someone made the "Makume Gane " technique, and someone also made the " Skinner Blend". Aren't we ALL sort of copying what those individuals created, in the first place....the answer is yes! Lol Yes we are! And they created those techniques in order to be shared! With everyone! When that individual first started with polymer clay, you bet your bottom, she learned Her techniques from someone else! It's all combined, and I've seen a lot of videos, that have been the same techniques, but different colors. That's it! And you know what....WHO CARES! We need to live " GATE-KEEP" FREE, and be kind to one another. She shouldn't have treated you that way. That was very insensitive, and immature. That's all I'm going to say about it. I have a question in my comment...kayto has a new conditioning bar, and, it really works!! Almost too good, I guess a little goes a long way when you give it time to be absorbed. I believe it can be used to soften more than just kato, and kato needs it! But, how do you cure clay that has been mixed with other clays that have widely different Temps? Cernit is very low I think and kato is 300 degree ferenheit. Or even fimo with sculpey?
Yeah, the opal is nice, I made some daggers with it but the flakes are sharp and jutting

@@TheCreativeDork5 I know that I was really impressed that it did not change the color of the clay that I was using it with. I was concerned that it would lighten the colors like when you add white, but it did not. Each color stayed so vibrant. Something else I noticed is that the clay didn't bleed when mixed with the kato conditioning bar. I did use with a translucent clay that had alcohol ink to it. Mixing with fimo effect/translucent which is so soft and sticky it's almost useless will soften the hard cernit but it defeats the idea of getting the cernit if you don't get to use it as is. I'm glad the company is sending you more, hopefully free of charge and without the Hassel and expense of returning the hard clay. I saw Pardo translucent, it looked amazing
