"Take this lamp, bye"
Man Matt's demise was a heartbreak. He made millions, if not billions, laugh. Yet he was alone in the end. World is darn cruel place.
What happened to Matthew perry?
@@thorn62_yt53died in his hot tub a bit ago. Not sure if accidental or purposeful yet
Ring a ding ding baby 😢
Damn. Him breaking the glass looks cool.
I like Friends ❤ RIP Matthew Perry ❤
"Also the entire movie was bloopers. All was improvised."
All movies sound like that now from these videos.
Yea the dumb and dumber one definitely looked like it was scripted, like maybe he did have enough at first but no doubt the director was like this is great! Keep doing it to all of them, people seem to think film scene takes a day to film but it can take weeks to get it right
*chandler* why did you give me the lamp
*ross* shhhhhhhhh
Rest in peace, Mathew...Fly high 🕊️
You can look up the script for dumb and dumber and that scene is written in
Written after the fact 😂
Was his reaction scripted?
@@johnlagerman5610 yes it's called acting believe it or not
You realize that 90% of improv scenes that are kept in are reshoots of originally spontaneous moments that weren't in the script *originally* ? As in it happened for real on one take and the director/producer decided to add it in the script and do more takes with that line or scene that were never originally planned.
Dawg billy a good actor😭
How you saying the kids got actually shocked when Billy busted it the window. It’s two different cuts…
There's a thing called cameras
you do realize that they most usually film stuff from multiple angles and use the best one right they probably just switched angles
Rest In Peace Matthew 😢❤
Nowadays every scene was "not acted" even though characters are behaving like, well, characters, I'm totally expecting ppl at this point to start claiming that the entirety of Jim Carrey's 'The Mask' was just a documentary of a casual day in Jim's life
Take this lamp.
Wait what?
2 lies 1 truth
Rip Mathew😢
Um sir friends isn’t a movie
So does Stranger Things
🤓👆🏼
Im convinced AI are writing the scripts for these types of videos. I’d bet money
how did the follow-up pick-up shots that are obviously filmed after the "blooper" be able to show "realistic " reactions when it's actually happening a good 10 minutes after the actual event meaning that this short is fake.
This video isn’t fake. This is the beauty about good actors. They can improvise and stay in character and the thing about movies and tv shows is that the cameras have to continue rolling for a while before and after the director calls cut and they only do that if 1) the actors break character, 2) there scene is over, 3) there is a natural loll in the scene, 4) the actor(s) is(are) struggling with something in the scene (this can be something the actor(s) brings up themselves or the director notices needs to be adjusted about the performance to enhance the scene), or 5) something goes wrong on set. Even then the cameras usually remain rolling as they have tons of storage for data and it is sometimes easier to continue than to stop.
@@mialee5545 You probably didn't understand my point but it's fine.
I'm specifically talking about "Stranger Things" part where it's obviously an onset decision but according to this short he claimed that all of the kid's reactions we're real"
But there are so many flaws with this statement that you need to understand how shots are filmed in this specific context.
let's first initialize the context,
in "Stranger Things" they used an ARRI ALEXA LF Camera, Red Epic Dragon Camera, Red Helium (Weapon) 8K (Action camera), Red Monstro 8K Camera (Action camera) and Leitz Summilux-C Series Lenses
meaning one camera that shoots at 8k and other action shots we're filmed with other 8k cameras but this isn't an action shot so there's only 1 camera
they we're filming with the technique of "shot-reverse shot" this is
a is basically when ever you film a shot of a character doing something or an event, and then cuts to a shot of what or who that character is
as depicted in the actual scene.
so following the shot-reverse shot then this makes these events (the - "glass break", and the - "following reactions")
therefore,
stating that those reactions were "realistic" makes no sense whatsoever because they were acting to nothing just an idea which is what actors are supposed to do.
(by that I mean is that if an actor is told that they are in a sinking ship they are probably not actually shooting the shot in a sinking ship)
the statements made in this short come from a CZcams channel called "TheThings" on the same subject, but with little information on filmmaking they made some or a lot of wrong statements.
The truth, the glass break was real the actual reactions weren't and to top it all off a different shot filming the glass falling on the kid's head is obviously broken glass prop being thrown by an onset prop assistant.
* One day later,
I actually watched the movie and with a little bit more inspection...
I found out that the actual final-cut was a different shot where he breaks the glass with the blooper was that in a different take he broke thewith his head on aciedent because it was meant to break because it's a breakable prop.
-----------------------------------------
Starts with the shouting "MAX, GET AWAY FROM THE DOOR!"
- A hand breaking the glass with Max falling to the ground.
billy's face screaming with this head poping out - the actors reaction
filmed via the director's cue after the glass break.
...
-----------------------------------------
The first shot has Billy breaking the glass with this head (probably) and then him screaming.
Director decides to go with it,
so he films a much more formal way of the glass breaking so he shoots a shot with Max falling to the ground over the breakable prop being broken via .
And then tells the actors to react to the unexpected shot so he re-routs the camera to shoot the actors doing the reaction and the scene continues.
-----------------------------------------
This is just an example when ever some random youtube channel decides to copy-paste what another channel says with tts without really understanding the scene because the
This is irrefutable evidence of lack of understanding of how shots are filmed and how the reactions cannot be legitimate.
Just saying what another said, which makes this short fake...
Underrated video
Love how the last movie clip was a tv show
there's always a hidden and ignored scene-writer in everyone, ......which is being admired through reels on social media since rise of smartphone
OKAY
