- We are Tammy and Ron of Weinke World Adventures, and we recently sailed on the MSC Seashore out of Port Canaveral on a 4 night cruise to the Bahamas and the MSC island, Ocean Cay. In this video, we take you on a tour of the whole ship, top to bottom. It's an awesome ship, and we had SO much fun on her!

@@weinkeworldadventures yea we are going March 10th from Port Canaveral ... it is the 2nd cruise my family is taking ... my 4th... but first on MSC. I heard so many bad reviews so it is very comforting to hear good ones!

Any advice on embarkation day ( heard drill is bit confusing)and disembarkation day that you can share with me?

We do have a video on embarkation and disembarkation in our playlist for this cruise. 😊 But I would say in terms of the muster drill, make sure you are in your cabin at 4:00 PM to watch the video on TV, and then you will receive a code to call in on your room phone right after the video. Then you need to actually walk to your muster station which you can find on the map on the back of your cabin door. You cannot use the elevator during the muster station drill.
Also, for disembarkation, I would really recommend trying to walk off yourself with the self assist. It goes really quick! We were off the ship before they even announced they were cleared. We heard horror stories of other people waiting for hours to be called in groups if they had their luggage brought down for them. 😳 Happy sailing!

Lovely ship and Great tour! Kudos to your camera man, Ron, too! How were your seats and meals in your main dining room? Did you do any specialty dining? Do they have less expensive lunch options available? It looks like a fun cruise with good weather. Any shore excursions in port? Next, the Manatees await. 😉

The seats and meals in the main dining room were very good in our opinion. It would’ve been nice to have a heads up that we would’ve been seated with other people, but it wasn’t a huge deal. We didn’t do any specialty dining on this cruise, but now, thinking back, we wish we would’ve tried the taco place, as that was pretty inexpensive. It would’ve been nice to have a couple more days to try everything! There really wasn’t much to choose from for lunch, other than the buffet. I think the sushi and taco places might’ve been open too, but there are charges for those. We didn’t do any shore excursions on this cruise, either, as the island provided such variety and a lot to do on our own. And we had been to Nassau before. It’s funny that you mention the manatees! ❤️

My family are going on this cruise ship on May of this year. It is our first time, I was so nervous going about it not knowing what to expect, but your video is so informational and it made me calm down my nerves. Traveling with a 4 years old and 20 months old is a first but after watching your video I have a sense of where and what to do. Thank you!

Seemed like a lot of the bars and restaurants didn’t have any employees at all working them! Is that normal? We leave in 2 weeks for this same ship

We actually did this tour in the morning on our port day in Nassau. Several of the bars were closed during the day, and opened mid to late afternoon. I looked back at the daily schedule, and it looks like 8 of the bars were still closed out of the 17 total bars. All of the pool bars were open, as well as the seashore bar in the lower level of the atrium. Plus, a few other bars were open. The casino bar, of course, was closed, as the casino cannot be open while a ship is in Port.
But don’t worry, you can always find several bars that are open even on port days! I hope you have an amazing cruise! 😎🛳️

I just looked back at all of our programs to be sure, but I don’t see anything about a pickle ball tournament. And it didn’t look like the sports court was marked for Pickleball? I’m kind of surprised since it’s so popular right now! I hope you have an amazing cruise in November anyway! 🛳️❤️
Can you tell me on the MSC seashore do you get your own drinks like you do on carnival? We have a cruise out of Port Canaveral on the 29th of this month and that is the only thing I’m wondering because I have seen two different things on Shipmate, but I know in one of your videos, it shows similar to Carnival. Also, I think it said you can’t take an empty water bottle. Can you take like a yeti cup?
Hi there! How exciting that you are cruising on the Seashore on the 29th! The drink situation is pretty similar to Carnival. However, MSC will not let you bring on a bottle of wine or any cans of non-alcoholic beverages (soda) like Carnival will. You either have to purchase a drink package for that, or buy them individually at the bars on the ship. You can also get bottled water at the bars for purchase. If you want, you can definitely bring your own water bottle or yeti and fill them up in the buffet drink stations. We just cruised on the MSC Magnifica, and asked our room steward to open up the fridge for us, and he did after leaving port the first day. So that way you could put your water in there to keep it cold as well. There are also other free beverages in the buffet, such as iced tea, juices, lemonade, tea, coffee, and milk. So you could always use those in your empty water bottle as well. Have a great cruise! 😎🛳️
@@weinkeworldadventures oh, you make me feel so much better because I’ve heard so many things where people wait for the servers to give them drinks and stuff and I was just like - I hope you can at least get drinks yourself. We always like to put water in our yeti cup to take to our room at night that way we’ve got our water to take our medicine in the morning. Thank you so much for your quick response and now I’m not gonna worry from here on out. Do they have equal sweetener or can I take my own?
Oh good, I’m glad you met this made you feel better! 😊 I don’t think the servers bring drinks at all in the buffet area. We always got our own. You will be totally fine bringing water back to your room. In fact, you could even use the water out of your bathroom faucet if you really wanted to as it’s the same as the water throughout the ship. There’s also an ice bucket in your cabin, so you could ask your steward to fill that with ice. In terms of the equal sweetener, I am not 100% sure if they have that or not. You can bring your own though if you want to as long as it’s not opened. I brought my own box of tea because I like a certain kind they don’t have anywhere it seems, and I got it on there no problem. I’m glad you’re not worried anymore, and can relax and enjoy your upcoming cruise! ❤️
Are the food not in specialty restaurants free ?
Yes, the food outside the specialty restaurants is all included in your cruise fare. So the food in the buffet, the main dining room, and the buffet on the island are all included. 😊

Some of the beverages are included, such as water, lemonade, certain juices, regular coffee and tea, milks, and iced tea. Sodas and other drinks can be purchased separately, but are not included.
