Ash has been the perfect legend for me. As a crypto main I always had to stay out of sight and rely on flanks and ambush and Ash feel like she was made with that in mind. I had the craziest squad wipes from sneaking pas the enemy completely unnoticed

As a crypto main myself i can heavily agree i fell in love on my first match
I didn’t see this in the video and I know most people don’t know about it but you can actually charge the tactical to make it fly faster. The snare will glow blue when it is charged.

Ok guess I should have tested this more but timprovision is right the snare turning blue is just a visual and not an actual gameplay feature.

In my original testing I thought I could see a difference but when I used a more accurate timer I found only around a 0.5 second increase to speed when letting it turn blue over a 100m distance but that may be more variables getting in the way of my test.

Been busy and just tested this. I don't see any difference in the speed so I'd take this with a grain of salt.

I started to main Ash and I love her so much but I always wondered how to reveal enemies. This video helped so much, thank you!!!!
one fun thing you can do is put the arc snare on a door with enemies near the other side and open it, stunning them without any delay before you can shoot. i cant remember if this next one was mentioned in the video or not but try throwing it near your feet if you think someone is about to push you around a near corner.
when enemies chase i throw it right behind me some people just don’t play smart you gotta out think your enemies too

Ash and bloodhound are a crazy duo for pushing squads cuz ash finds the death boxes then scan and get the get high ground or whatever the case is but really good duo for fast pushing teams
as a rev main who used the tactical to block doors, I think Ash would be fun to play

Thanks I really needed this, I thought I was using ash in a wrong way, and this video really helped me to understand her real playstyle and some useful tips! Got any tips on seeing where the portal is going to end while holding her sword? It seems very light to me and I hardly see it
I unfortunately don't, it is brutally small and tough to see.... I agree.

i dont know if this actually helps or if i just have better eyes for it somehow, but i have colorblind protanopia on and havent had any issues seeing it
Something not a lot of people know: on storm point and you use the gravity cannon, if you hold ashes ultimate out and don’t crouch when you hit the ground you’ll slide like horizon :)

When you play FPS games don’t worry about controlling recoil just aim and shoot it’s all reflexes

I play a lot of Ash, especially in Arenas. She is hella good for pushes and aggressive players, such as myself. I def recommend an Ash, Revanant, and a Seer as the ops you use in a squad. That trio is deadly.

I got my first 2k badge with her today in a solo trios match so I really like her
One other tip, if you’re being chased, use an ult behind cover, and back up immediately. When they chase you through the portal they will be faxing away from you and you can get a free shot at point blank range

Bro the skill ceiling for ash is def high. The snare ability alone is insane. Using it predictably to stop someone and arc star them makes any fight immediately in your favor. It's not just leading people with the snare it's planning where they will be or ushering them to a place that you're going to use it.

As a ash main, she's an absolute beast for arenas matches especially if you like to push and claim kills quick. Definitely use smgs with her though it's the best weapon pick (specifically the CAR)

If you scan the deathboxes with a slash, sometimes they will ping the deathbox of the attacker if it is nearby, which might lead you to a living attacker

Apex is not the same game I remember when I first played it. Apex today is a million times better and it was a good game to begin with. I don’t go on warzone anymore, because of this game.

Ash's tactical needs 2 buffs imo. It needs to move way faster and it should mark the snared enemy.
My reasoning: Her snare isn't good for long range because of the speed. The enemy will be able to dodge it easily.
Reasoning #2: Her snare should mark the enemy because most other tacticals do. Also since they hide behind cover when snared, we would know where they are

I like her new tactical buff, but I personally think the enemy team shouldn’t be notified when you scan them. It doesn’t track them after the initial ping, and if they’re far away it’s unlikely they’ll be in that exact spot by the time you get there. Just make her more stealthy 🤷🏼

I had a match where me and my squad were watching another squad launch away in one of the cannons and I sniped one person mid launch with the ash snare and it pulls them out of the launch even if they have been shot out of it.

I think she's more like Octane than Wraith. I know she has a portal but its more like the jump pad being one way.

I have no problem with her Kit right now. I think shes pretty balanced. I think people need to let her sit for a little. She's no where near busted like Seer was.

Hey do you know any good weapons combos for beginners
If you're new i suggest just trying to find out what weapons you feel comfortable with.
Generally you'll want to cover different ranges. Eg. you could have an EVA-8 for close range and an r301 for anything farther. If you use snipers then your 2nd weapon should cover close/medium range like the Volt or r99

R301, Volt, Eva, Triple Take should all be fairly easy to use weapons!
WRAITH TIP - if you are being chased and there is a launch pad thing ( the thing which launches you in 1 direction which is present on the new map ) use your tactical while going on it and it will drop you half way instead on the full distance . it works 100 % of the time

discords never work for me i cant find any one my skill level and age 25 and no one chil to play with i play ash and have 4k on main I'm trying to farm kills but its boring solo. i solod to diamond 4 4 times and very close to d3 .
Am I the only one struggling to get kills with ash but fine with others I think it comes down to how big storm point is but idk like I just said storm point is way to big for me this is again why I believe Olympus is the best map is perfect size
Storm for sure feels huge. Tough to get higher kill games.
On console, changing the ping button to a face button for some reason makes it so I cant ping on map. So I lose some utility with ash sadly. Anybody else have that problem?
