Small correction, twitch e deals physical damage with base damage and ad scaling and additionaly deals magic damage without any base damage, only ap scaling, meaning ap twitch deals mainly magic damage with his e
iirc they play on ap is to dump as many stacks as possible and then E cuz autos dont do much. Technically speaking, this playstyle is more burst oriented rather than consistent dps
correct me if im wrong
Don't forget his passive scales 3% to 18% AP depending on stacks and W slow scales on AP as well, and his passive damage is affected by riftmaker/haunting guise but I'm unsure however if it procs collector
@@r35ct12 Any time a champion builds AP, they're automatically more bursty than they would be otherwise, since it moves their damage from autos into abilities. AP Katarina, Twitch, Kaisa, Kayle, etc., are all more burst oriented compared to their AD builds

Matchups are my favorite part of the game in League (unless I'm facing Urgot/Gragas where I just get bored to death), and what I think is my strongest aspect in the game. Learning in-depths matchup, mastering and practicing them is just what I love the most. Adrian and I used to even call to watch some CN/KR pro players POV and see how they'd play this or that matchup, honestly that's the most enjoyable part of league to me. Although I don't play either of those in your video, that was really enjoyable!
I enjoy playing 1v1 even in bad matchups but when JG and mid shows up it's miserable. Especially when your team takes nothing back at the same time

Petu time! silly question here, would it not work to Q before E and accept the disempowering of the auto attacks in return for getting the energy refund and some damage? I assume that, well, several things could happen to make that either simply not worth or impractical to try, but it was the thing that immediately occurred to me and I am curious.

Hey Petu, one of your older Vids inspired me to take up shen jgl - so far I'm enjoying it a lot and enemy jgl usually completely underestimates shen dueling power.
Mostly I play green jgl item into tiamat into titanic hydra into righter dead mans or force of nature.
As keystone I use the one with attack speed for the first 3 autos for higher burst with q.
Do you mind giving some feedback or suggestions? Ty in advance.

Twitch E actually scales with AP to do magic damage and AD to do attack damage, so with AP Twitch, his E does do a lot of magic damage.
Thornmail needs really strong that game. I’m curious if getting an early bramble is worth for their heavy AD auto comp

Xpetu, I've made some passionate comments about changes needed for shen. I realize now that I have been building wrong and trying to get 6 q's off when I should prio more consistent 3 q trades/1 q grasp shield bash trades, my WR is back since I am exclusively looking for hallow and deadmans rush instead of bamis titanic rush. But man, I wish they'd revert q nerf from s13.

Twitch expunge is actually half magic and half physical damage, he also gets a fair bit of magic damage from nashors so magic resist isnt wasted against twitch, but the raw health is better imo

@xPetu I came up with my build, it's just the runes: River Shen: Predator, cheap shot, eyeball collection, relentless hunter. Celerity and waterwalking. speed tenacity, cooldown reduction, U just use the forbidden river shen technology playing as any champion XD, now imagine River Shen Teemo Lmao! Shrooms for drakes and barons, and the enemy team is traumatised for life!

I'm recently having a whooping 65% WR using Shen mid, but the games that I lose is because me team doesn't have enough damage or a good carry so we ended up outscaled, what do you do in those circumstances boss?
This is how I am sure I am in low-elo (g1-p4), I rarely lose Shen vs Yasuo matchup, and I didn't even know that i lose AA Amp because of windwall, not a single Yasuo player in my elo is even trying to block my Q dragthru 😅

Does Braum E also stop Shen Q? I would.. assume so? If Shen's Q is the first thing that connects with his E of course, it specifically states it destroys the first projectile that collides with his shield.

I actually got a Yas using wind wall vs my q in silver match, he killed me because I didn't know it

If the Yasuo is high IQ and constantly blocks Q after taunt, isn't it logical to Q before the taunt to get shield and semi-empowered attacks?
Im just asling this to get told why it wouldnt work cause i dont know enough about either champ.
But wouldnt Q before E work to get the empowered but not fully empowered AA if you are playing against a yasuo who is consistently hitting those Windwalls into your E. Like yeah you dont get the full value of pulling the blade through your opponent but you at least get something.
