Well, because players no longer pride themselves being starters, suiting up all 82 games, and giving their all. Benchwarmers are getting paid $15 million a year.

I can't believe the Bulls fired Ray Clay because on how he introduced Michael Jordan when he returned to Chicago as a Wizard but now if a major player has a farewell tour they all get introduced like a big deal I admit the line up introduction not the same anymore without Ray Clay

This was the most exciting times. Just different times, different era, different generation of fans. I’m so glad I was a part of it. The intros really got you into the game. It was part of the big show! These days, not so much anymore.

I can't believe that the Utah Jazz blatantly ripped off the Bulls introductions. I remember the Suns did it in 1993 too.
vkeitt21 actually the suns started using Sirius in 1990, Bulls first used it the year of their first title in 1991. But the song is and should be synonymous with the 90s era Bulls

Correction. The Bulls did use Sirius during the 89-90 season when Tommy Edwards was still their PA announcer. However, it's just not what Ray Clay brought to the table for years.

That's Bull-Shit. The Bulls were already using Sirius by Pippen/Grant's rookie season in 87-88. I have the 87-88 season VHS ("Higher Ground") and there is an entire montage set to Sirius.
That 1993-1994 New York Knicks Intro takes me back to 6th Grade.

no wonder why the bulls won every year, almost every team copied their entrance song. just imagine how alpha they felt with them going in anywhere knowing the other team had to go and steal their intro.
This was back in the days when the rivalries were intense, the players were recognizable, and you actually wanted to stay home and watch the games.

Right?!?! That intro from the early to mid 90's was AMAZING! Using the SAME Bulls' intro twice (93 & 96) was lame... especially since that song was used in places like Phoenix, Utah, etc...

The Knicks were the best because they never copied , they always made their own intros from scratch. The Knicks also got to go back to doing it the old way; only turn the lights out during playoff time.

For the 95-96 Finals, you used Ray Clay, in Chicago, when you had that awesome Supersonics intro as an option?! Especially more frustrating, given that you feature the Bulls intro from 93, which is the same in 1996 (yes yes, different starters, but still...).
Put up a redux version of this video, and please use the 95-96 Supersonics intro song.

I agree, as a Chicago fan we find a way to put together best teams in all sports and louse it away. Chicago Bears, starter franchise of the NFL should never play second to any organization. When the Bears are good the NFL benefit.
