I have a single Klipsch 12" and have it turned way down and still rattles stuff on the walls. Don't forget to give them love too.

What’s up , due to the poor sound and distortion through CZcams tbh it was hard to distinguish any real difference although most people would prefer the largest sub , but even with the smallest if you position it correctly it will do a great job as you know it’s not always to do with the size ,
A fun video but from this you can’t determine whats going to suit you the best
these were all filmed in the center of the room. that is a very unlikely space for finaly sub placement. We have more sophisticated recording equipment to really capture the experience. Hopefully we can do another test with those soon

I do like SVS Subwoofers. Plus i just brought the SVS SB 1000 Pro because of room size. I've Just got to it professionally setup with my AVR and other speakers. As i have back problems. Thanks for sharing.
From what I understand if an individual were to make the jump say from like a pb3000 it would be useless to go to the pb-4000 because the performance is so very similar. simply because the pb3000 was made so very good especially with the split wind voice coil. It would make sense to just take the big leap and go to the 16 Ultra. Although, what I intend to do is buy two more pb3000 for a total of four and then pretty much expect to get divorced shortly thereafter.
the 3000s are crazy capable. there is a difference between the two. You get more output and more headroom with the 4000s. It all depends on whats important to you. Anything from the 2000 and up will be a big upgrade from the rest of the stuff on the market

they all sound somewhat the same, in this vid. that is a testament to their tuning the boxes to give reliable performance. i like demos like this, cause it gives a preliminary expectation of what can go on.

I picked up the svs pb12-nsd that was on clearance for 500. Sounds great but I did have an issue. The bass was really weak so I called SVS and after checking all my settings they recommended adding a Y splitter to the back of the sub. Said my Onkyo Tx Nr 757 wasnt giving the sub enough signal. Whatever that means but it worked. Sound awesome now
The man never fails to bring energy lol. If I get a new sub this year I'm really looking at that smaller sub.

Awesome video idea! It would have been nice to hear some comments on each sub and the comparison to each to each other in the room. Without a pro mic, they all sound very similar on a Gopro to us on CZcams.

Is this within the safe operating range of these subs or are you guys pushing them to see how far they can go? I've got the SB-2000 & I'm always a bit worried when the driver is flopping around like that.
as long as the you dont hear distortion while its thumping that hard then it should be fine, if you hear it making weird noises when you turn it up too high turn it down a little bit then thats your max volume for the sub without damaging the speaker long term
Why is it when you played the matching subs in pairs, the lower sub moved half as much? Half the input voltage maybe?

@@Dreamediaav I do not, but you are right I would like to, not just because of Rythmik, but because of the research and products Arnie did while at Infinity. The part cost is so low and the improvement in accuracy so great, that I'm surprised more sub manufactures don't offer this tech in their products.

Got a pb 2000 last week. Huge sub. Had to set the gain at 1o'clock to get some bass. It digs deep for sure. Going to return it since it's too big for my space and getting a pb 1000 instead.
really? check w svs customer service before you send it back. They can help you get the best sound out of it

It depends on your taste thats where the volume knobs comes in. Its better to have more headroom.
I changed my mind. I am keeping it. It's not worth to swap to a pb 1000 with the oneway shipment fee($80 anyway. Any suggestions to reduce room/house rattle lol. I already have svs isolation fleet on them. Watched the 1917 movie trailer yesterday on CZcams.. i felt like the whole house was coming down. Some fantastic lows. This sub is awesome!!!

I think the 1000 is plenty for my space! I have another sub-woofer and I can run both of them. The current one I have is Def Tech Pro Sub 800. The SVS could do the heavy lifting

What speaker are you using to provide the audio, because you cant use just the subs because they only play the bass noted. Some subwoofers can play vocal/audio because they arent tuned right such as my logitech ls21. It might just be a defective sub. But what sub would reccomend to a small stereo system for a t.v. Can you mix brands of speakers such as Boston stero and use a a svs sub with the stereo made by Boston?
Hi, I did a test @ home and with delightful results. In your fuse box were all the 120 volt circuit breakers are I made a chance. I chanced the circuit breaker, that provides the power for the sub and for the stereo, with the Littelfuse 30A Rail Mount Fuse Holder for 10 x 38 mm Fuses. The fuse it self was a Hifi-Tuning Supreme³ 10x38mm Copper/Silver (Phase and Neutral are fused). Attention, if one blows the Phase can be still active so be careful. What a difference !!! Bass is much more controlled. If you can offer a sub from thousands of dollars no problem to invest an extra 12 dollars (fuseholder) + 150 dollars (2 pcs Hifi-Tuning fuses 10x38mm) . Have it a try and pls let me know your opinion ! Regards

two usually balance the space well. but the svs are a tremendous value as far as power/output for price goes
Not really much of a comparison. Two 15 inchers versus one 12 inch? The two ported SPL-150's will blow the doors off a single PB2000, Pro or not, but are also double the price. The SPL-150 is a nice unit for home theater, especially if you get it on sale. I have heard the SPL-150.
I think I would go with two SPL 120s.
The biggest one looks like a mini washing machine.
Wish I had any kind of sound system. All I have is you tube an $5 earbuds lol

Don't go for big. Buy sub suit your room size. For a small room sb 1000 is enough.

I have a dbox Dave subwoofer 300 watt. I find it works better raised to knee level. I believe that if it’s on the floor some of the bass is lost on the floor. What do you think?
height can effect bass. Works for some rooms, just not every room

Hey Chris I was going to ask you a question the sound speaker sounds good on the top one can I hook up to your stereo because I got I got a bass speaker downstairs and they quit working and and my somebody dropped off one time and it hooks up to the yellow Capricorns and I'll try to it don't get any kind of bass out of my speakers so I just want us kind of good kind of bass speakers the hook downstairs to my to my stereo makes makes surround sound a little bit I'm listening to music

2 pb 1000's should be good for me currently using 2 in phase xt12 car subwoofers which do hit pretty hard but they dont really go below 32hz and are ugly af because i dont feel like painting the mdf cabs 😂

Ever test any of the REL subs?
The RELs are very musical but simply cant go as deep as these due to the size and power difference.

I have both the SB-1000 and then upgraded to the PC-2000 (the cylinder one) which is brutally awesome but i realized it was damn too much for my living room, and after using it for at least 3 years daily with a little more from a quarter of its volume, i went back to the SB-1000 for the living room, and took the PC-2000 for a 2.1 set in another room
PC2000 is pretty sloppy for a sub. My least favorite sub

if you can afford the 4000 then go with that one. they are both great but you get tons of output w the 4000 and more headroom
