I've been a kpop fan for almost 10 yrs and I say that Rocky is really one of the BEST DANCER in kpop, he and Lee Chaeyeon are my top tier favorites in terms of dancing. The best version of this cover imo. Rocky kills it. His dance training always is highlighted so precise and light on his feet. Apart from his technicality and execution, the thing that I enjoy most and sets Rocky apart from other dancers is his joy and passion for dancing which shines through his movements, perhaps unbeknownst to him. He's always smiling unconsciously when he's immersed into a dance, truly giving his all from head to fingertips to his toes. It makes his audience smile just as he did and falls into a rabbit hole called Park Minhyuk.

Rocky is simply the best kpop dancer, beats are his soul.
Having watched many a cover of this song, I can honestly say this is the best. Rocky has such fluidity and control, and he doesn't overdo certain parts like in a lot of other covers. Rocky definitely uses more power and energy in his limbs than Taemin, but he maintains the same sense of gracefulness so it doesn't feel like too much. And his ability to remain expressive while being technically flawless is nothing short of amazing. Especially during those gorgeous TURNS!!
No one can ever be Taemin, he's beyond human in his movements and control, but Rocky comes really close, far closer than anyone else I've seen cover Taemin's dances. That he can even come that close is proof that he's one of the most talented dancers in Kpop.

You can check out the videos from "Dance War" a competition held a couple of years ago between different idols, where he was one of the finalists. That's where I learnt how good a dancer he is!

On the other hand, I think Rocky's dance adds masculinity as well as flexibility.
In conclusion, they are both wonderful main dancers.

I personally like the way Rocky does the shoulder-wobble move at 1:05 and the spin at 1:42 better than the way Taemin does the same moves! Also, it blows me away that this video was uploaded 12 days after the Criminal MV dropped and 9 days after the dance practice video was uploaded. Rocky is incredible.
If I remember wrong correctly he learned criminal by practicing from two days about 2-3 hours each day. so this cover is from about 6 hours of practice!

Criminal had 2 spin, which the 2nd spin is like MJ move. Do you know why Rocky can't do 2nd spin because he overdo the fst spin at 1:42...he must feel dizzy because of that spin. Same that with popping when the song start. Not every one can do it, that shaking can make it headache. If you watch Hyunjin cover, he can't even do it.

You can tell that he dances with such a strong foundation in the way he positions his legs and his dexterity in terms of footwork is fucking amazing. It’s very obvious that he’s trained classically and he always lets that slip out when he dances because it’s clearly a part of him that he exudes naturally. He’s so graceful and elegant while still being sharp and smooth and it’s so satisfying to watch him every time he dances and I just respect him so much.

im a 2nd gen stan so im not familiar at all w this boy or group but I've been watching every criminal cover that appears in my rec page and this is legit the only person I've ever seen do justice to a Taemin dance ever. Not just criminal, literally any Taemin choreo. He has his own style and flare, he doesn't try to be someone else and it works (besides the fact that he seems to be incredibly skilled?). I'm thoroughly impressed and kind of relieved, it was getting tiring to see everyone else get everything wrong.
