This is a project involving members from multiple power metal bands (Sunburst, Theocracy, Impelliteri, Vandroya, and Leah, who is more symphonic metal/ celtic metal) led by Matt Smith of Theocracy. Collide and Spark is the only other song out for this project, and Matt Smith is the only vocalist from here that is on that song. I recommend you check out Nailed by Theocracy, Time After Time by Vandroya, Surrounded by Leah, and Out of the World by Sunburst. That'll get you into a whole bunch of varieties of power metal. They're all great artists. I do not see many reactors react to them because they are relatively unknown.
First of, and in the interest of full disclosure, I am a big Theocracy fan. This song and the other that Project Aegis did, Collide and Spark, was a charity for the homeless in Nashville. It still is btw and you can totally contribute to that cause. Both are great tracks. I actually loved Angel in the Ashes first and largely dismissed Collide & Spark for a time as I was punch drunk by Angel. However, I now feel the two have come flush and Collide might actually be the better song. www.metalunderground.com/news/details.cfm?newsid=98384 Also, would like to add that both songs were written by Matt Smith when he was writing the Ghost Ship record. I did some reworking of the second half of that record for a mix and added in the charity tracks where my ear found they fit best. I hope everyone enjoys on Spotify. open.spotify.com/user/tristramiv/playlist/02rJxx4INLpDmemc7ud2eW?si=meMKInISRM2J-LT2MugAeg Cheers. Oh, speaking of which, I usually enjoy PBR. It is a Richmond thing. However, when I decide to treat myself I love Loose Cannon.
Amazing vocalists, Daisa is my favorite as her sound reminds me of Floor Jansen (After Forever, ReVamp & Nightwish) & she's so beautiful. P.S. You have a cool black cat. I have a Siberian forest cat that looks just like Garfield.
FYI not a Christian band but they are a special collaboration group that donate the earnings from this project to different causes for each of the songs...
If u like this u will absolutely love Ana-metal for charity. (Cancer charity with power metal artists) Project aegis is also charity project that made 2 songs to feed the homeless and so on.
I'm drinking a little fresh squeezed IPA from dechutes today, gonna finish with my old and always favorite merry monks triple by Weyerbacher who I saw in one of your other vids you know quite well. My request list goes on. VITALISM - Pagan part 2 (INSANE) Kublai Kahn- (the hammer) 🔨 Project 46 - Panico 😱☠️😈👻 12 foot ninja - (one hand killing) Thanks again for doing that Aegis request, now let's crank it up a couple notches!!!!
I'll be back this weekend, most likely! Sorry, my schedule is very up and down because of grad school. I try to make time to sit for a good few reactions in a row, and I just haven't had the time recently. More coming soon, though! I promise!
