The tone of Robert's bass.. OH MY GOSH. It's nice to hear it so well. Why is it that so many bands' albums don't let the instruments through, until many years later with a remix or remaster? Led Zeppelin is a great example for me. I love how JPJ's bass was allowed to come through with the remixes, yet you can hear all 4 members even better than the original.
Saw them last week with new singer Jeff Gutt, they totally kicked ass. While it sucks that Scott is gone, he did an excellent job of filling those shoes.

to play with you guys would be a huge tremendous honor. stp is easily one of my top 3 bands right under alice in chains and pearl jam. ive been told alot of my original songs i have the soul of layne and scott. a band in my area had me come up on stage to play plush and offered me to be their new lead singer but was to busy with school and such and was to young to make that commitment. writing wuse you guys would appreciatte my material. but never had a band write behind me to make it sound filled out. i will be keeping updated on the unraveling of the audition process. most likely i will be making a channel with nothing but stp covers starting tonight. rip scott. i was going to do audition for the voice and do a scott stapp tribute but weather conditions ruined it.
