Lots of memories the first time i ever see a television in my life was at the the old sam fo supermarket .use to be a road block situation .my mother send me to do errands i stay to see what this tv is all about watching bonanza .when i reach home i got a beating i will never forget .by the bakery use to peep in to see dem tuning the race cars the owner would let the dogs loose and chaes us away .love my town.

Spalding is my nearest town where I have travelled to practically all my life. Taught at the Primary School for years. I'm somewhat disappointed because the last time I visited, the roundabout with the clock was removed. Notice a lot of people are not following protocols which is not good.
Hi Tania happy new year, you're so right about balaclava but I guess it's a geographical error because when I was a young boy the sign used to be at the police station that says welcome to st Elizabeth (coming from comfort end).
Use to teach machine shop and welding at Spalding high i am the one who set and build that shop .there wan no chairs almost all broken had to teach how to weld so as the kids have some thing to sit on .rest in peace mr forbes.the principal .to all my past students peaceout

It's changed so much ..what happened to ayescoghee hall and the Springfield outlet centre .? Looks a lot more multicultural than I remember it too Lincolnshire isn't what it was when I was a boy
Some of Spalding is in Clarendon and some is in Manchester. The border is a little before the hospital close to the gas station. Spalding Hospital is in Manchester and Spalding Post Office is in Clarendon. And Spalding does not have a "u" in it.
