i keep reminding Zwag on these tank builds...NOTHING can complete this build like a good ABYSSAL The Mr you need, the healing you need, the mana you need, the hp you need AND it does EXACTLY what you want for this build IT STEALS MR from your enemy.

I would think maybe an abyssal mask for the last item. It gives mr for the vex, and makes enemies near you take increased magic damage. So it *should* increase sunfire, thronmail, and your reflect damage as well
Amen. Exactly my thoughts. People tend to forget this item exists. But the moment you build the catalyst, you forget about mana problems...so it's build path is actually good too.
I really wonder if Jak'Sho would work better than Evenshroud or not. Evenshroud is obviously great, but I wonder if the heal and increased percentage of protections on Jak'Sho would make it even more effective for drawn out fights. That 700 gold difference though ain't a joke.
@@DoctorOaks jak'sho is a great item, and its definitely better for survivability (im in love with jak'sho and frozen heart on sejuani at the moment). Evenshroud is taken to increase the (magic) damage you and your allies deal to recently crowd-controlled enemies. Its definitely the correct pick if youre looking to just watch people delete themselves when youre playing rammus. Especially when/if paired with Abyssal Mask, which causes enemies within a certain range of you to take increased magic damage. The synergy between the two items is insane. Then you throw on thornmail and sunfire, and just watch your items damage numbers sky rocket.
Although he already has 2 heavy MR items. But yeah...Abyssal is great too. He would have too much of both resistances and still do atrocious damage. Rammus with Jaksho is impossible to kill without true damage.

Hi Zwag, remember that on those tanky builds getting abyssal mask gives you 25 flat magic pen. Its just boosted and makes you crazy tanky against mr

I've been playing a lot of belveth recently and never faced or banned him because rammus and amumu have 42%wr vs belveth so i assumed her true dmg with kraken was enough to kill him or kite him with q until is w is down, is that not the case?
@TheBlueDragon 89 you get taunted into the w, so no kiting. And the amount you do to him ends up being less than you do to yourself, even with true damage since the reflect scales, true damage doesn't. But the wr numbers are due to how many people play/build amumu and rammus wrong

Zwag if you happen to read this, consider Anthaema chains :) Its's an extremely gold efficient item and it has a good use here (use on vex, stack armor otherwise) and I noticed it as well in a Malphite full armor video - the only magic dmg was Sylas, so use it on him and stack armor otherwise. In the Malph video, gargoyle was really a good option too :)
Explanation: if you have mediocre base magic resits (50-70), anthaemas dmg reduction is approximately worth for 70 magic resist (bonus, not affected by magic pen). But you get more HP, cdr and also it costs less than FON.

Zwag, a void staff magic pen is always worth more than a shadowflame
Percentage magic/armor pen is calculated in your dmg before the flat pen, so even if the enemy has 50 mr, a void gives you 20 m pen on them which is more than shadowflame in practical way, and if they have 100 it's gonna be 40 m pen and etc

I would assume so, but its pobably not very much.
Back when there was a bug that gave 800% omnivamp for every legendary item (riftmaker mythic passive bug) rammus or even just bramble vest was so op and fun to use with it
Also this was around a year or two ago and lasted for around a week? It's on rossboomsocks channel if you want to see it yourself don't remember if he played rammus tho

I’m not sure if ravenous procs lifesteal still but I remember being fed on rammus once and heard my friend said man they do so little damage they might be healing you by hitting you so I tried ravenous and with a full build of armor they genuinely were healing me from hitting me

Idk if Jak'sho amplifies your total armor by its percentage or just your base but I would think it's a better mythic choice than evenshroud
Yesterday i played rammus top i was behind in my lane by 20 cs and 1 kill but after 2 team fights the enemy cait kept dying just by hitting me it was fun

Black Cleaver (for armor reduction), into Bloodthirster (damage and self-heal), into Gargoyles Stoneplate (to reduce incoming "reflect damage" - all damage really), etc.
That would give her a CHANCE against Rammus - going full AD damage build is a "nope". 😆
I love this wonderful meta riot has created where tanks beat you by just existing. So amazing and balanced lol.
Except the only tanks that are actually broken are malphite and sion. All the other tanks are not even good, because there are so many health percent damage and penetration options in the game, sunderer even gives both and guess what every meta champ toplane builds? If you get oneshot by rammus, it's not because rammus is actually broken, it's because the guy who was supposed to peel for you probably didn't do that. There is counterplay to this. But if everyone has to have an ego and be the carry instead of someone peeling for actual carries, then yeah. Sucks to be adc I guess, better buff the role some more :^). Just to prove my point, here is three champs that completely hard counter rammus just by existing: alistar, janna, sett. Because these champs can make rammus never reach his intended target!
But now to circle back to malph and sion: malph is unreasonable, because his q and his ult has no counterplay and he gets ungodly amounts of armor and still oneshots. Malph cant be peeled because his ult is unstoppable. That's broken!
And Sion can Literally die 5+ times in lane phase and still have most cs and get all tower plating while all minions that die near him just give him bonus max health and he just scales to absolute oblivion. it's a good thing that the players who go bauss style sion never actually understand how to farm/proxy efficiently

I was eve jgl vs scion jgl and i played and farmed so well and was like 8/2 150 cs, and that scion was TWO Levels ahead of me with 200 CS WHAT IS THIS
It was 19 mins and closest cs'er to him was toplane with 170 cs thats it, so eventually he scaled nonlimit and became unkillable despite my team being actually ahead and he just 1v9'd to victory
Perhaps Abyssal Mask for MR. It would help surviving magic damage and dealing more damage.

Day 1 of asking for full AP ivern MID.
I know ivern is usually trapped to the jungle, but playing him mid you can be super oppressive in lane, because once you hit level 5 you get basically perma red and blue buff in lane. Just go his normal mage build and add lich bane and Maybe nashors and youll do alot of damage to turrets aswell.
Wouldn't jak'show scale better? I feel since you scale with armor it usually works really well. Plus it's not for only people you recently ccd.
