Railfanning @ Altoona Juniata Shops Vol. 3 Ft: Patched & Wrecked units, NS SW1001's, & More!

Ladies & Gentlemen, I bring you guys Part 1 of 3 of National Train Day railfanning & the Third Volume of Railfanning at the Altoona Juniata Shops. This video covers alot. Though there were only a few trains featured in this video, there were a bunch of surprises at the Shops. Starting off, with Norfolk Southern's recent Purchase. NS Bought 44 Ex-KCS/ BNSF C44-9W's and the majority of them are still in Altoona waiting Activation and/ or Rostering. I will also say that I also Broke my BNSF/ KCS Patched Dash-9 count (I only caught 2 before I scored more than a Dozen of them).Also there are 3 Ex-CEFX AC4400CW's. Out of the 36 being added, 22 are Rostered. I've caught 8 of the 22 and 3 (Possibly more than that cause there are some hiding in the shops) of them are in storage including 3988 which is one of two Ex-Central, Maine, & Quebec units. I also managed to catch the Last Surviving Standard Cab Dash-8. A Twist however also explains that 8688 is not the only Standard Cab Dash-8, but a C39-8E. Also, for the First Time, we get a chance to catch AMTK 42 at the Famous Horseshoe Curve. We'll also get to see 2 of Norfolk Southern's Last 3 Remaining SW1001's which are the only switcher type locomotives left on the NS Roster. Alot of wrecked units are there too, Including 4067. After that, I wrapped it up and headed over to another hot spot, but that's another story! Hoep y'all Enjoy the Premiere!
